  The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast was generous. The staff friendly and helpful. The only reason I hold back that last star is because I really wanted to relax in tje hot tub and there pool area was closed.

  Im not one who usually leaves reviews unless it was just outstanding services etc but I felt compelled to write this review on this nightmare of a hotel. My family and I booked 3 rooms here over the weekend to celebrate my nieces birthday. Shes turning 10 and decided to spend her weekend in WF so we could hit up castaway cove. We get to castaway cove about open and have a great time. Its getting close to 330 and we had decided we had enough sun and we could grab early dinner and then let the kids swim at the hotel. We arrive at the BW about 348 ish and find out none of our rooms are ready and it could be up to an hour before they were done. No big deal. We would go grab dinner and then come back to swim. The lady at the front tells us the pool is closed and the city hasn't opened it yet. Okay? We had almost decided to just cancel reservations and find something else. We just kept our rooms and went to eat. They discounted our rooms $25 for the night due to the pool issues. We come back and check in. All 3 rooms are on complete opposite ends and floor of the hotel, the rooms smelled like musty old wet carpet. All 3 rooms smelled this way. And to top it off we return sunday night and get the kids showered and whatnot. My sister and I were doing the girls hair and we find head lice. To be noted that I had French braided led every single females hair in my family right before we left for the water park on saturday morning and everyone hair was lice free. I look for these things in every kids hair when I do hair because it happens. Hope this helps someone in the future!

  The women that work the front desk of this location are amazing! They seem like they enjoy being social and giving great service. I had made a mistake in booking and they were able to fix the problem in seconds and did not give me a hard time. They greeted us every time we walked by and asked how our day was. They really seemed like they cared. It was a complete breath of fresh air in this post covid/crap service/pay extra for nothing era. The only reason I could not give a 5 star, is that the room was really dirty. The cleaning staff is not getting behind chairs and under the tables. Which is oddly where my kids like to play in hotel room, gross! If you could match the cleanliness to the amazing front desk staff, then this hotel would be a winner all around.

  The staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout my parents’ stay. They felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely taken care of, which meant a lot to our family since they were visiting from out of town for my graduation at MSU Texas. The rooms were comfortable, the service was reliable, and the overall value was excellent. What impressed me the most was how attentive the staff was to my parents’ needs. Since they are older and have some mobility limitations, the hotel placed them close to the exit doors, which made their stay much easier and more comfortable. They helped them with everything, and that level of care made a real difference. As an MSU graduate, I will gladly have my parents stay here again when they come back to visit. I highly recommend this Best Western to anyone visiting MSU Texas or Wichita Falls, especially families coming for important events like graduation.

  Average stay, I guess. Their guest laundry facilities were out of order, which was frustrating since we'll be on the road another week and are mostly camping. Got a hotel to take a shower I didn't have to heat the water for myself and wash the sheets from our camping van. The girl at the desk was less than helpful about it. Told us there were probably plenty if laundromats in the area and to Google it. Which is true, and we did. It was just her attitude that rubbed me wrong. Not friendly or helpful at all. More like resentful that I interrupted her boredom with my mundane requests. The pool was green with algae. I'm guessing it was off season for locals, being May, but for those of us traveling (hense the hotel) from a colder climate, a swim would have been lovely. The sheets and towels were clean and breakfast was average. The nice thing was the location. Not near any major highways, so no traffic noise. I wouldn't not recommend this hotel, but I can't say the stay was great either. Just meh.
