  The staff was welcoming and efficient; they accommodated our request for adjoining rooms. The room was very clean. I gave it three stars because the hallway smelled and the AC was loud.

  The rooms and hallways have an odor very damp where everything felt damp. Dirry walls and doors were also scratched up and sticky. Runs like a weekly it seems people live there for long periods. Smelled like animals. Not a place i would recommend nor stay at again.

  Rooms were clean, but an overall very musty smell (there were coffee ground packets in the air conditioner to mask the smell). Although the inside is “newly renovated” the outside was not very clean. There was a lot of trash and debris all around parking lot. Breakfast was not very good, and seemed like it had been sitting there for hours even though we were there right when it opened.

  When I get to the hotel, it's very warm and extremely humid in the halls, but I figure it was just because of the 30 minutes of hard rain the area had just gotten. Get to the elevator and it's very *hot* in there, and I could smell a heater running, this is while it was 90 out. It also smelled odd. Whatever, you're only in the elevator a few seconds it's fine. Get to my (quite small, luggage cart wouldn't fit) and stinky like cigarettes room, and it's just as humid as the halls were, and about 74 degrees. Sit in the bed and it's one of the hardest and springiest mattresses I've ever sat on. The humidity was starting to bother me as I couldn't tell where my sweat ended and the air began, but no big deal, just crank the AC I thought. So I kick my shoes off, and go to stand up from the bed and am greeted with the disgusting feeling of sopping wet warm carpet water rushing through my toes. Cool cool cool. My mom who paid for the rooms went and complained and came back with a new key. We go to check out the other room, and I'm immediately greeted with the smell of wet dog, and it's 80 degrees, just a humid as the rest of the hotel. Out of curiosity, I kick my shoe off and feel the floor with my foot. Now keep in mind, this room is like 10+ doors down on the order side of the building, and the floor was still wet in there too. I decide to go with my room because at least it's cooler, and the cigarette smell was fainter than the dog smell. I grit my teeth and just accept this isn't a great hotel and get ready for bed, praying the AC catches up (was 73 at this point). I get into the bed, and... The bed was wet too. At this point I just walked next door to the comfortable hotel (not using the name in case they censor it for that) and it was great. Dry air, dry beds, dry floor. Oh and the night desk guy said this happens every time it rains. Day desk guy told me there was nothing he could do about it, my mother was able to get $40 back from the just under $300 she spent on two rooms.

  I stayed for one night while passing through to Dallas-Fort Worth. This is an old hotel though I wasn't aware of that before booking. The first red flag was that the door to my room was ajar when I got to it though it appears the maid may have just left it open slightly. The room was disgustingly dirty as can be seen in the photos. It does not meet the standards I usually expect from a Best Western. Also, the air conditioner is old and loud. The entryway tile was so slick with something that I nearly fell on it.
