  Stayed the weekend for the Texas Renaissance Festival. Did not make the beds or change towels on a Saturday. I was told this is normal on the weekend. This hotel is desperately understaffed. I choose holiday inns because they’re typical consistent and good, but this one is not. No coffee maker in the room either. Only giving 2 stars because the room was clean and comfortable the first night.

  Clean, friendly people, the people at the front desk were 100% helpful and all around pleasant.

  El hotel esta en proceso de renovación, tengo más de 15 años visitando el hotel, por asistencia a un evento cercano y este año nos toco el hotel completamente remodelado todo el interior de las habitaciones nuevo, tiene muy buena ubicación ofrece desayuno incluído, cuenta también con alberca

  Nice rooms but waited 45 minutes to be checked in waiting on desk clerk to figure out the computer program. Then took another 15 minutes to get the paperwork done. When we had reservations and keys plus paperwork was complete.

  I’m disappointed with how my cancellation request was handled. I contacted the hotel via email five days before my scheduled check-in to request cancellation and ask that the cancellation fee be waived. I also called and spoke directly with a representative at the front desk, who told me that as long as the request was made within 5 days of the actual check-in date, they would usually refund the fee. He did explain that the final decision would be up to his supervisor and that I would need to wait for a response by email. Based on that conversation, I felt hopeful that the hotel would work with me. Unfortunately, although I reached out five days before my arrival, I did not receive a response until two days before check-in, and my request was denied. I understand that I was outside of the original cancellation window and that the representative did not guarantee the waiver. My frustration is with the overall experience. I made an effort to address the situation well in advance, contacted the hotel directly, and was given information that led me to believe there was a reasonable possibility of flexibility. Then, after waiting several days for a decision, I received a denial. I understand hotels have policies, but customer service and communication matter as well. The delayed response combined with the information I received over the phone made this experience particularly disappointing. Unfortunately, it has made me reconsider booking this property in the future.
