    Had to attend funeral in Victoria, TX. I am an IHG Gold member & chose this hotel for that reason. What a SHOCK to walk in to lobby after 10 hours on the road to find the facility in midst of FULL BLOWN RENNOVATION! No paint on walls thru lobby. Elevator out of order, no carpet on stairs, pool closed, gym closed, no ice machine, a/c in room never got cold. No room available on 1st floor either! Mattress was comfortable and sheets were soft, but that's all this place had going for it. No offer of further discount or additional IHG points for our inconveniences!! Stay away from this place or call ahead to ask about mentioned inconveniences before booking.

    The hotel is currently being renovated. The service desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. The room we were in smelled a little musty, mostly coming from the a/c unit. The breakfast bar had a lot of options to choose from.

    Wonderful service! They gave me water and wished my aunt well, who is in the hospital. The people at the front desk are so kind! I don’t know their names, but it’s a blonde lady with red lipstick and a bigger black man, both incredibly kind and beautiful people! God bless them both! -Rosie

    This was the worst hotel experience! They were not forthcoming about the renovations. I knew nothing about it until AFTER I booked. That is something I need to know BEFORE I book. ALSO, The room had pubic hair in the tub, sink faucet hadn't been wiped (ever probably), dirty sheets, a freakin bug on the bed, a used toothpick on the floor, wall panel falling apart. I always book a room with a pool so I can have a quick dip in the morning. THERE IS NO FUNCTIONING POOL OR HOT TUB. I didn't find out theirs wasn't functioning until I looked out the window of my room and saw the disgusting sight in the attached picture. Had I known, I would've booked elsewhere. There should be a low room price if the amenities are not there. I can get passed the gross things in the room because I always wipe everything before we use anyway but the pool situation really got to me.
