  For nearly $950, this stay was disappointing. The only real positive was the hotel’s proximity to the beach. The rooms are extremely small, and the walls are so thin that you can hear conversations from neighboring rooms, people walking in the hallways, and noise outside, making it difficult to relax. Housekeeping is only provided if you specifically request it, which wasn’t made clear. we had to keep asking for clean towels because our room was never serviced. Even when we requested housekeeping or fresh towels, the staff often seemed bothered and had an unfriendly attitude. On our first day, we went to use the pool, but it was dirty and appeared to have been neglected, which was disappointing. The complimentary breakfast was just okay. There wasn’t much variety, and most of the food tasted like it had simply been microwaved. Overall, the price did not match the quality of the experience. Aside from being close to the beach, I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it, especially at this price.

  It’s really close to the beach so that’s nice but like in the sink the handle to turn it on had barnacle thingies like idk if it was mold or smth but it was nasty. Also the chairs are super worn out and ripped and the sofa window chair thing looked dirty. It’s kind of outdated but like I guess it was okay??

  My stay at Best Western Beachside Inn in South Padre Island was excellent! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast was a great bonus, and the overall value was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting South Padre Island.”

  El hotel es un poco antiguo, Pero está en buenas condiciones y está limpio. La habitación era algo reducida. El baño muy bien. El lugar para el desayuno es muy pequeño. El hotel está del lado de la playa y cercano a un beach access por lo que puedes llegar caminando, aunque nosotros fuimos en auto para llevar las cosas.

  Free breakfast was......powdered eggs. Microwave seasoned potatoes...and.......more powdered eggs. Milk that was just bought from Walmart. Stale cereal. Rooms smell like mildew. All tiled floors but you feel like you never want to take your shoes off.
