  Driving to California and needed to stop for some sleep. A little hesitant to choose an unknown named hotel, but not many pet friendly options and based on reviews, I decided to give it a chance. I was not disappointed and absolutely thrilled with the choice made. Welcoming reception upon our after 10 pm arrival. The room was so tastefully and beautifully decorated- I absolutely loved it. And the beds. OH MY GOODNESS. Let's just say our plans to leave by 5 am were RUINED because we did not want to get out of bed!!! By far one of the most if not THE most comfortable hotel bed I've ever experienced. And the sheets- don't know what they are but felt like I was wrapped in a cloud. Complimentary waters were appreciated. Parking was awesome, being able to park the uhaul in front of our door. My only complaints-which would NOT affect my decision to stay here- were that the a/c was pretty loud for me. Fortunately I travel with ear plugs so it wasn't an issue. Also, the sink, while very cute and modern was a bit awkward when trying to wash my face in the morning. Water splashed on the floor no matter how hard I tried to be careful. The sink is a cool rectangular shape. Just different. Lastly, I would have loved to utilize the coffee maker but I can't do coffee without flavored creamer, so maybe add a couple of flavored packs :) other than that I very highly recommend this spot. Once up in the morning we got to see the grounds which were so cute and spacious and made us wish we arrived early to enjoy the parklike setting with giant chess and other activities.

  I had a great stay at Tex-Haus in Snyder, Texas. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and nicely remodeled. The beds were comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and welcoming, I would definitely recommend Tex-Haus to anyone staying in Snyder. I’ll definitely be coming back!

  We came to Snyder to bring my grandson to college. Honestly, this is the first hotel where the online pictures actually match the property! This property is beautiful, quiet and the room was even better. The beds were comfortable and the room was decorated beautifully! The staff went above and beyond for us. There were LED lights under the bed that welcomed you into the room. Nice touch! We will definitely be staying here every time we come here! I highly recommend visitors to check this amazing property out when your travels bring you to Snyder!

  We stayed at the Tex Haus at the tail end of a long road trip. Right after checking in, it was clear that the family who own it have gone to a lot of work to make it nice. In fact, I dare say it's the first vintage style motel that I've really enjoyed. We really enjoyed all of the bathroom fixtures that made the bathroom seem right out of a European hotel. The experience was great all around, but there were a couple of things would have made it perfect. We had a standard room (2 double beds) for a family of 3, and it was just a little too small. My husband is 6'5, and the bed was too short for him. There was a nice desk, but no desk chair. And, we felt the room could use a floor lamp or different overhead light that would put out more light. There's a nice big window to open with curtains which definitely helped during the day, but late at night and early in the morning, it was too dark. There isn't much breakfast to speak of. As a family, we typically seek out the hotels with a good breakfast. They had some cereals, some sweet breakfast and snack items, yogurt, coffee, and some fruit. If you're watching your blood sugar, or just looking for a less sweet option, there wasn't much. I would've loved to have seen a few plain bagels or English muffins to toast.

  We recently stayed at TexHaus in Snyder TX and it was a fabulous experience. The room was clean and comfortable. They have a nice outdoor space with chessboard, fire pit, and other amenities. We did not spend any time there as it was 100+ degrees (gotta love summers in Texas!). When we checked in, the hot water was not working but this was resolved quickly by the staff (a tripped circuit breaker). It’s apparent they have invested a lot of time, money, and elbow grease rennovating all the rooms. I hope they have amazing returns on their investment. 100% will stay here again if we are in the Snyder area.
