  I really enjoyed I’m stay at the Candlewood San Marcos, TX where do I start when I first checked in? I’m met this nice man at the front desk. I believe his name was Rich. He was so greeting me with a smile and so welcoming. I had traveled a long way from Oklahoma and I was so sleepy. He made sure that I had a room right away with no hesitation. He was so welcoming to me and my family made me feel right at home he checked me into room 316 which was an amazing room and had a wonderful shower. Aside from that the next morning, I met a lovely lady Sri, she was very helpful with helping me find restaurants nearby. She didn’t hesitate to let me know the area the good restaurants to go to. She was also very friendly, greeting me with a smile as well. She would make my keys every morning and always had a smile on her face and always made sure that I had fresh towels in the morning. She would inform housekeeping to bring my towels even when I would oversleep passed time. Rubi, was very nice to every time I seen her she also would go the extra mile to help me with anything I may need. And omg Don was amazing. He always smiled and always made me feel welcome as well, but most importantly he made me feel Right at home and I was still down because I told him that my uncle wasn’t doing too well and he always said calm words and he also always give me my keys when I would demagnetize them with a smile on his face as well I will definitely be back to this Candlewood as they may need a ride at home and very welcoming. I would like to take out the time to say thank you to the staff in those who are named and the new Manager. Thank you all so much Sincerely, Bhavya

  Have stayed at the candlewood for a few weeks for work. Always a pleasant experience. Roxanne is always helpful and remembers me by name. She has always gone above and beyond to make sure my stay is amazing!

  Hotel is easily accessible and in a great location for those of us w/Kids at TXST. Roxanne at the front desk was very kind and accommodating.

  Friendly greeting at the door. Smooth check in. All front desk employees were very helpful and welcoming. Bonus was definitely the breakfast. The room smelled a little damp, but I figured its due to being a summer destination for the river which I can totally understand and overlook.

  I am immensely shocked this is sitting at a 4.0. I ended up checking in and had to immediately check out. There was a group of men who were following me, the hotel was nasty. I expressed to the front office if I could get my money back or even half the price as seeing that I had not checked in and went up to the room. She told me no. So, regardless of how unsafe and the poor maintenance of the property, they would not budge. The pool was green and my room smelled like mold. We travel here often. I will never stay with this company again. REPLY TO OWNER: My husband has been calling for over one month to talk to a manager. No one answers the phone or calls him back. We have no desire to do business with your establishment. We just want a refund. I never even stated there, so I don’t understand why I can’t give my money back. Notice how you didn’t leave contact info to reach out.
