  You have a thermostat in the room but it doesn’t control the air. They have a master one that apparently doesn’t let the temp go below 72

  The front desk clerk was adequate but the housekeeping and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful and brought smiles to our faces. The room itself had a funny smell but we got used to it as the night wore on. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. It was like lying on a rock all night. Because of that I was only able to sleep about 4 hours before having to check out and drive home for 2 hours, which was a struggle. We've stayed at this particular hotel before and never had issues, but this visit was quite different. Plus they added a deposit to my bill that I've never had done before. They didn't even tell me about until I saw my bank account. When I called and questioned it, the clerk informed me the deposit would be released in about a week's time after checkout. I doubt we'll stay here again.

  The bed we got was hard. We've stayed here in the past, several times and this was the first time we weren't completely happy with the bed. The cleaning staff and the breakfast staff were excellent. We were not informed that the hotel would hold an additional fifty dollars for a week from our card was another surprise we were not anticipating.

  If you can tolerate moldy smell in your room, and a rude management which lies to you and forces you to stay in the moldy room, then you can choose this location. I never expected a holiday inn express hotel to have this kind of service and dirty room. I stayed in room 322 for couple of days. Stay away from this hotel. Hallways smell horrible, and rooms smell is not tolerable. If you complain, they say that they will cover up the smell by spraying something in the room. They think that mold is bad for your lungs, but not mold with room spray. And if you happen to have booked your room thru third party sites like priceline, they treat you really bad.
