  Probably the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at. Parking options are horrible. Our room’s A/C was out and there was apparently nothing that could be done. I write this review as we make the 4 hours drive home back to Dallas because we decided to just leave instead of spend the night like we planned to.

  Great place to stay located downtown close to restaurants and bars riverwalk and mall located near all famous attractions

  Room was great, exactly what we needed. Good price, good location, parking is weird but good. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Huge comfortable bed and the towels and sheets were clean. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back.

  To get the negative out the way, the location and parking is just atrocious, parking “diamond elite” is pictured below, ten spaces, very little wiggle room to drive and walk, location used to be a jail, turned hotel and everything around is under construction, it’s a mess. Mother Nature played a huge factor because it was POURING, walking from there to the room was a disaster. Positives, the staff was friendly, cozy two queen room, zero issues with smell, cleanliness, ac, room setup, it was very comfortable, free breakfast was surprisingly a good breakfast, eggs, bacon, ham, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, beverages, it’s a nice cozy one day stay but around it, diminishes the name.

  We booked three nights here for a trip we had planned. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express hotels over the years and this one fell well below what we are accustom to. When we arrived in the evening(8pm), we could not figure out where to park or what to do with our car when we checked in. On top of it the hotel is in an alley and is not light well so we felt uncomfortable leaving our car unattended. once we decided to just leave it in front of the hotel and go in. Once we got checked in and started to head towards our room we felt more uncomfortable. The hotel had a musty smell to it but at first I just attributed that to the older building. As we made out way down the halls and used the elevator to get to our room everything just seemed a little dirty. The carpet was dust in in the halls. When we got near our room there was trash and cleaning supplies laying in the call. Once we go into our room, a king room, we were disappointed. The bed was almost against the wall with no room for some one to get in and out on the side. The one side table was scratched, the desk was damaged and the walls had scratched on on it as well. The bathroom ceiling looked like it had a leak and the AC unit in our rom looked liked it had not been cleaned a years with all the dust and gunk build up on it. The parking was lot we we had to pay $20 to use was a ways away with little to no sidewalk access from the hotel. Once again we felt uncomfortable leaving our car there for awhile let alone for multiple nights. Once got into our room we decided this was not the place for us and book a different room on the Riverwalk and checked out. The front desk did not seemed surprised when I said I was checking out and politely only charged me for one night.
