One of the best ways to explore the San Antonio River Walk! The boat ride was wonderful, and our guide, Patrick, was both entertaining and knowledgeable. If you’re visiting San Antonio for the first time, this tour is definitely worth taking! They also take your picture before you board, and you can purchase a photo package at the end of the tour for $35.

Excellent tour and very informative! This city has a very interesting history. Tge riverboat ride was nice and smooth. Joshua was the best tour captain...informative with a sense of humor. They take your picture prior to boarding which they have available for you after the ride for $35 (I passed on those...too expensive)! The staff inside the little store where the tickets are purchased were also very friendly. All in all, it was a great experience...definitely recommend!

The Rio De La Vida - Tradition Trail Tour Cruise This was amazing. Was on the OCT 4th 7:30 pm cruise. The captain was very knowledgeable and very smooth ride. This is a special cruise with special decorations on the boat. It comes with a drink. The meeting point is different than the regular meeting place. Make sure follow the instructions. There are a lot to see and the lights are nice. Worth the trip.

After walking up and meeting Captain Nick we told him we would be back after he answered a bunch of my wife’s questions and gave us some awesome lunch recs. We continued to see Nick as we walked around river walk and every time he saw our little girl at the river edge as he would pass she would be waving and he made sure she saw him waving back. We got back to the loading area and Alex let us know when Nick would be back and that there was a great ice cream spot one bridge down. Another win for Rio guys helping us tourists out. We loaded up on the boat and had a wonderful cruise with a great mix of history, jokes and good times. Everyone from our 3 year old to the grandparents on the boat enjoyed the ride.

This was my first time taking a river cruise on the San Antonio Riverwalk and I was so impressed! I learned so much and saw so many things that I had never noticed. Our captain for the cruise was Daniel and I must say he was exceptional! His natural charisma, humor, knowledge and passion for the city he comes from pours out and he is simply the perfect guide for the cruise. My wife and I were so impressed. I am sure all the guides are very good but I would highly recommend you ask for Daniel as your guide!
