  I arrived on 10/10/26. I was checked in by Mauricio. He was great! He answered my questions about where places were since this was my first time being in San Antonio. Staff is super friendly, the room was great. We had the full kitchen and they had everything! I would definitely stay here again. The place that it’s located in is pretty rough. But this hotel is nice and there’s no weird activities going on lol. There’s also a security out there every night driving around the parking lot making sure everything is okay. Also, at night they block off the back entrance so there’s only one way in and one way out. It feels safe.

  My family and I stayed there to attend our daughter’s graduation ceremonies with the Air Force. Our room was exceptional (Room 303) ~ had a king bed in a separate room, a pullout sofa a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, a pantry, dishes, silverware, dish towels, a dishwasher, dishwashing soap, stove, a pot, a microwave and I’m sure I missed other important features in the room. The room was very clean. The sheets were crisp and very white. The hotel as a whole was exceptionally clean. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. They had a nice patio area, a nice indoor pool, a well put together workout room, even board games if you want to sit around as a family and play scrabble, etc… They even had various kitchen appliances available in the hallway next to the food mart should you want a blender or a waffle maker, etc… Now, the downside is the surrounding area is an area that you don’t want to be driving around late at night looking for something to eat and definitely not walking around at night. They did have a security guard who was present in the parking lot when we drove in late at night who greeted us and she was still pacing the parking lot when we left at 4:30am to leave for the ceremonies. And yes, if you’re going to the graduation ceremonies ~ you’ll want to leave at 4:30am. We left at 4:30am and still sat in line to enter the gates (only our airmen told us to arrive that early as she saw them filling up during graduation days at 4:30 and lot 1 was already full by the time we got to the lot and lot 2 was almost completely full). Regardless of what anyone says, the security gates open at 5am. This hotel is literally right around the corner, GPS says 7 minutes, but it felt like just a few minutes to the Air Force base. And again, if you’re going to the Air Force base for graduation once you come up to the light to turn left (you’ll know what I mean) you’ll want to get in your right lane after you turn left. Do NOT go to the first gate on your left for the first day of graduation, go down to the first gate in your right. That first gate on the right only had 5 cars in front of us. All in all if I am going to the Lackland Air Force base for any reason, I will definitely stay in this hotel again. Thanks to IHG and a special thanks to the hotel stay for making my stay feel extra special!

  I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The air conditioning went out in our house on a Friday and we had no options for repair until the following week. I showed up at this particular location at almost midnight and was greeted with such kindness. I had no idea how long I would need to stay and the staff was so helpful and understanding. I was able to stay night by night until my home repair was complete. Each and every staff member I encountered was exceptional. I am always very anxious staying in hotel rooms for cleanliness concerns and it was very obvious the staff here takes cleaning extremely seriously. The bedding was pristine and every other aspect of the room was spotless. Right now there is some construction around the building so the parking lot can be a bit difficult, but overall I would stay here time and time again.

  The hotel was awesome to say the least. The front desk was exceptional. Always available and very attentive to our needs. We visited 9/1-9/4/2026 due to our son's Air Force Graduation on September 2-3. The base was about 5 minutes away (Luke Gate) which was the perfect gate to use for the graduation. The hotel room was in excellent condition and the amenities were perfect. We used the pool on our first day there to relax from the long road trip. The pool is salt water which I think was great. They also have a gym equipped with weights, treadmill, etc. It was perfect. Laundry was also available as a courtesy no charge to use the machines just have to buy your own detergent. They had 2 elevators, the one closer to our room was out, so we had to take the one on the other end which made it a longer walk but it was fine, better than walking to the 4th Fl. I highly recommend this hotel if you are attending a graduation at Lackland JBSA. You will not regret it. The only thing to be aware of is the parking in the hotel. It gets filled up from time to time and the rear entrance is closed from 9pm-7am.

  We stayed here for BMT graduation. The proximity to the base is excellent for those early morning ceremonies. Also close to the Wolff Stadium for a SA Missions game! The staff were so helpful and pleasant. Shout out to Mauricio who helped me get an ice pack for my sprained ankle! The rooms are fine, ours was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The kids had fun in the pool- the pool room was HOT so even the grownups had to get in. Only thing preventing me from giving the 5 star review was the shower- the plug doesn’t stop the faucet completely so you’re kind of standing in some water. All in all would recommend for families going to the grad ceremonies- unless you want free breakfast.
