  My main issue was that my stay was about 11 days and housekeeping didn't come to my room at all. I spoke to the front desk guy, he claimed he text housekeeping but he actually didn't. So I ended up asking the lady for trash bags, toilet paper and towels. There was only one spoon in the room too. There was definitely a gnat issue as well. They were coming out of the AC. And the room had a moldy smell to it. Overall decent area, it's close to everything. The pregnant lady that ran the front desk was very helpful with my issues. The guy that worked with her assisted me with my bags due to me being on crutches. I really appreciated that.

  I always enjoy the Candlewood Suites because they have a full kitchen. Rooms are clean & the staff is helpful and friendly. Locations are conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations, & grocery stores.

  2 stars because they tested a fire alarm at 08:17 on a Sunday morning. Woke us all up. We to the desk in inquire and the response was basically, oh yeah, we do that.

  This weekend we stayed at this location for my son’s soccer tournament. I very rarely write reviews, but felt I needed to regarding our experience. My son woke up, covered in bumps from bedbugs. He has bumps on his face, arms, and feet. I have reached out to corporate and created a case number and took multiple pictures. My main worry is this happening to someone else. They assured me that they would follow up with my concern and make sure that they will fog the rooms and address the bedbugs. When we showed up to our room, we had to clean off the table. It was left with crumbs and dirty. I will certainly not be staying at this location again. We travel a lot and unfortunately, this is the first negative review I’ve written However, I hope this helps somebody else.

  Not great. I was the only customer when I arrived at the check in desk. I stepped up and said "Hi" The two associates did not great me in return or look at me. After a pause I said I wanted to check in. The woman asked what name it was under. She wasn't rude, just completely impersonal and devoid of and friendliness or professionalism. She clearly was confused about the check in process. She presented the room choice in a negative way and gave no directions to the room. At 1:25 am I was awakened by a phone call from the front desk and asked did I realize that I had two reservations and did I want to cancel the other one? I said I didn't have two, but sure cancel it. I am upset to get a call at that time, I was very worry that it might be a family emergency. The next morning I had a cancelation email billing me for $150 for same day cancelation. The nice clerk at the desk said she didn't actually process that charge. I slept terribly and was tired for my activities the next day. The room was adequate but dimly lit and not appealing. My reservation was for a queen bed, this room had two doubles. I had decided in the first minute at that desk that I wouldn't stay here again, everything that followed reinforced that decision. I stay in Round Rock often, usually with Marriott properties. Lesson learned for me.
