- RCRandy CrawfordJul 23, 20265.0This will be long but worth saying. On a recent trip my family and I stayed in several Avid Hotels in different cities, one being the Round Rock Tx location. While they were all really great, the Round Rock hotel was exceptional. When we arrived we realized there had been an issue with the reservation we made through a third party. Without going into much detail we would’ve been lost if it hadn’t of been for Alex (who works in the evening) and the hotel general manager Erin B. We couldn’t be more thankful for those two as they were able to work through several problems that I’m not sure anyone else would have. Erin and Alex both went way above and beyond what they probably needed too. The hotels themselves would all deserve a 5 star review even if we hadn’t of had the unfortunate occasion to need the assistance from those two. Next time you’re traveling and need a hotel give Avid a try, you’ll be glad you did.

While the rooms are simply decorated, they invested into all of thr amenities that o care about which is super comfortable bed with soft comfortable sheets, minor furnishings so the room isn't over crowded, exceptionally clean without carpet or drapes that can retain odors. The lighting is a little harsh and clinical (no softer lighting for reading) but that is just a picky preference of mi e that doesn't affect thr score. The breakfast they offer has a variety of choices and their free coffee is delicious, as well as available 24 hours a day as well as free filtered water. I love these hotels and they are my room of choice no matter the destination 💕
