Let me first start off by saying as a tourist I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone…if I could I’d give them a negative five stars. My refrigerator went out and all my food spoiled. I went to the front desk and Mary (the owners wife) ignored me at first. Eventually I told her what was happening and she proceeds to get a nasty attitude with me and talked to me like I was a child. She then calls her husband Chad (the owner) and he proceeds to believe anything his wife said and blamed me for her incompetence and ignorance. This place already has bedbugs and is price gouging the people came down here for work. Pricing these filthy rooms for $1800/week for having two people in the room. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. A lot of my coworkers complained and were told they too were the problem. These people do not care about their costumers and find any reason to belittle you for their mess ups. DO NOT RECOMMEND DO NOT RECOMMEND ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I made a reservation through Expedia and arrived on a Sunday at approximately 2:40 PM to check in. The front desk employee informed me that no rooms were currently clean because only two housekeepers were working. I completely understood the situation and simply asked for an estimated time when the room might be ready so I could plan accordingly. I explained that I understood normal hotel check-in times are typically around 3:00 PM and that I did not mind waiting. However, when I politely asked for an estimate, the employee responded in a rude and dismissive manner, repeatedly stating that there were only two housekeepers working and that she did not know when the room would be available. I then explained that I understood the staffing issue but expected to receive the room within a reasonable timeframe since I had paid for the reservation. At that point, the employee became argumentative and stated that I had not paid the full price because I booked through Expedia (192.00 per nigth). I felt this comment was inappropriate and unprofessional. No guest should be made to feel less valued because of the method used to book a room. I requested to speak with the manager. Unfortunately, rather than listening to my concerns and attempting to resolve the situation, the manager immediately defended the employee and dismissed my explanation of what had occurred. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, he treated me as though I was being dishonest. The situation escalated further when the manager canceled my reservation and told me to find another place to stay. He even offered to call the police despite the fact that I was simply trying to discuss a customer service issue and resolve the matter respectfully. As a business owner myself, I understand that staffing challenges happen. My complaint is not about waiting for a room. My concern is the disrespectful treatment I received from both the front desk employee and management. Professionalism, courtesy, and respect should be shown to every guest regardless of how the reservation was made. In the end, I was glad to take my business elsewhere. I continued my trip and found accommodations in Wichita Falls where I received the level of customer service that travelers should expect. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience. Mold and terrible caulking on the tub. Luckily we were only staying for a few hours to sleep. The room was decently clean. They were heavy handed on the carpet freshener because there still much of it that hadn't been vaccumed. All of the rooms should live up to the appearance of the outside.
