- MMMaya1 day ago5.0We stayed in a renovated suite. It was clean, comfortable and plenty big for a family. Sound proof windows for sure! The only complaint I have is an unfinished pocket door. The positive: Désirée the room attendant is extremely helpful and thoughtful!
- MWmaggie Wood5 days ago5.0Booked this place over the 4th of July weekend cause Galveston and Port A were $1000 a weeked for a 1 star motel. I think this is going to be our new Texas Beach destination. The hotel staff was friendly and it was an overall good time.
- DEDinair Cassia EvansJun 7, 20263.0We stayed at the Best Western in Port Lavaca on Saturday 6/6 and Sunday 6/7 The room itself was excellent, very spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The air conditioning worked great, and having a ceiling fan was a nice bonus. We were very pleased with the room accommodations. Unfortunately, the customer service was extremely disappointing. During our entire stay, we only saw two staff members, and neither seemed friendly or welcoming. There was no greeting, no “good morning,” and no effort to make guests feel appreciated. The same lack of courtesy was evident when we checked out. Breakfast was also poorly managed. There was no staff member present to answer questions or assist guests. The food was simply left on the counter with no supervision or customer service. While the rooms and facilities were very good, the lack of hospitality and poor customer service significantly affected our overall experience. Management should focus on improving staff training and guest relations.
