  We stay at IHG Brands, religiously. They are consistently clean with comfortable beds. Last night, was not the same experience. The floors looked dirty and cracked. The bathtub was peeling. The air conditioner was not cooling (yesterday, it was 105° in Dallas), the door had to be slammed to close and let a lot of light into the room. This location needs a lot of TLC. A lot.

  Location is perfect for getting around PLano, Frisco and Downtown. Hotel and rooms were clean. Staff we encountered were excellent - including Tracey and Terriou.

  Lumpy bed, with trash underneath. Uncomfortable pillows one stayed very firm and the other went completely flat . I asked what the pool hours were and the receptionist failed to mention the key cards didn't work on the gates, or the door to get back in so I had to walk around to the front to get back in. The pool was cloudy/dirty for two days and there was a chair in it.

  **Roach Infestation — Completely Unacceptable** I checked out of room 214 early this morning after waking up to alive roach crawling across the bathroom mirror, which I captured on video. When I reported it, the front desk staff initially stated that the property had been told they only had “water bugs” coming from the pipes. After seeing my video, he acknowledged that it was actually a baby roach. This is completely unacceptable considering the sanitation concerns and the possibility of bringing roaches or eggs home in my luggage and belongings. A guest should never have to leave a hotel early because of roaches. I would also like to note, after reviewing my receipt via email, there is a $45 manager refund. I find this to be an inadequate admission of guilt. However, I did not ask for a refund because I was planning to address the infestation with a member of management or corporate. It was a kind gesture from the gentleman at the front desk. However, still unacceptable.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I want to give a very special shout-out to Terriou Long at the front desk! Every time I’ve stayed at this Holiday Inn for business trips, Terriou has consistently demonstrated nothing but professionalism, helpfulness, compassion, and genuine care for the guests. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help, and he’s incredibly personable and quick-thinking when it comes to finding solutions. His character and the way he treats people truly stand out, and I believe that deserves to be recognized. I also want to give a huge shout-out to the housekeeping staff for all of their hard work and dedication. Everyone I’ve encountered has contributed to making my stays comfortable and enjoyable. They are truly valuable to the guest experience and deserve appreciation for everything they do. And I have to mention the beds! 😂 I don’t know where they get their mattresses, but they are AMAZING. I travel for a living, and I can honestly say this has been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time—from the hospitality to the breakfast to the comfort of the room. If you’re on this side of town and looking for a great place to stay, check them out! The breakfast is delicious, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the staff genuinely makes you feel welcomed and valued. Thank you to Terriou, the housekeeping team, and everyone here who works hard to make guests’ stays a great experience. You are appreciated! ❤️
