  I have never been treated so badly by a front desk woman in my entire life. I came across the street to comfort suites because of how rude the lady behind the counter was and the lady at comfort suites informed me she has people leave candlewood and come to comfort suites at least once a week because of how rude she is. Candlewood , you might want to replace your front desk lady because she is losing yall a lot of money.

  June 13, 2026 My husband and I experienced recurring pest-related sanitation concerns during our stay from May 31 to June 14 at Candlewood Suites located at: 2401 E. President George Bush Highway Plano, Texas 75074 We have occupied Room 317 since May 31, 2026. Since the beginning of our stay, we have repeatedly observed dated and broken furnishings, an unstable bathroom floor and sightings of insects consistent with cockroaches within our room. These frequent observations include multiple large adult insects as well as numerous smaller insects appearing to be juvenile cockroaches. The sightings have occurred in areas including: * Bathroom facilities * Sink and food preparation areas * Living and sleeping areas, seen on our bed * Near personal luggage and belongings The recurring nature of these observations has caused concern regarding the sanitary condition of the room and the effectiveness of pest control measures being utilized by the facility. Timeline of Events May 31, 2026 * Checked into Room 317. June 5, 2026 * First adult cockroach observed in the room. * Purchased Raid Ant & Roach Killer to address the issue. June 8-13, 2026 * Numerous smaller insects observed on multiple occasions despite daily treatment efforts by occupants. June 11, 2026 * Additional adult cockroach observed. June 12, 2026 * Complaint reported to management by email. * Photographic evidence shown to hotel personnel. June 13, 2026 * Third adult cockroach observed. * Additional juvenile insects observed. * Formal complaint prepared for submission to public health authorities. We have preserved photographic evidence documenting: * Multiple adult cockroach sightings. * Smaller insects believed to be juvenile cockroaches. * Insects located in bathroom and food preparation areas. * Insects found near luggage and personal belongings. * The timeline of recurring sightings. * Correspondence sent to hotel management regarding these concerns. Management and corporate representatives have been notified of the recurring issue. Despite these notifications, additional sightings have continued. What we observed causes us to question the facility's sanitation conditions and wonder whether the property is in compliance with applicable Texas public health and lodging sanitation standards. Buyer beware. The photos speak volumes.

  Are you looking for a romantic escape? Are you looking for a hotel that plush and vibrant? Well I’m here to tell you, this isn’t the place you’re looking for. This hotel is all about a budget friendly experience. The staff is really good, and the rooms are super clean. But my biggest gripe about this hotel is the fact it’s soooo dated. It’s obvious they could use some updates. For instance, room #215 bathroom needs newer fixtures. Also the bathroom floor is unstable, due to missing grout in the tiles.

  This place was horrible front desk last night. she was rude and disrespectful 100% we kick us out because she said not allowed pets we went there to pay room for 8 hundred and then and the end we ask her we have a pets and she told me not allowed pet cat so after I pay it. I was talking to her and she just walk away it’s totally rude. I will give them Zero ratings this place and find somewhere else better communicating. The front desk need to learn how to be respectful there guest and my husband was in military too she so disrespectful for the troopers who serve military.

  As a former hotel inspector, I was disappointed to arrive at 7:30 p.m. and find the hallways extremely dirty. It looked like the halls hadn't been vacuumed in a week. Someone must have said something, because they were vacuumed the next day. The front desk clerks were just the bare minimum of friendly. I felt like I was some sort of burden to them. Room was clean, but this is obviously an older property that needs updating. Ugliest curtains I've EVER seen. For real. And I lived through the 70's... Don't stay here if you like extras like facial wipes to remove makeup, OR lotion samples or even Kleenex. There just refillable pump soaps and shampoos, and that was IT. I won't stay here again. Better off at Holiday Inn.
