  Nice,clean,spacious room.they ran out of change for the laundy.breakfast is good,but it doesn't start until 6:30am.

  Serious Cleanliness and Maintenance Concerns I am extremely disappointed with our stay at this Holiday Inn Express in Pasadena. We left the night we checked in and did not end up staying. We encountered serious cleanliness and sanitation concerns in three different rooms: * Apparent mold/microbial growth on the bathroom ceilings in all three rooms, with extensive dark spotting visible across the ceilings, particularly around the ventilation areas. * Leftover food was found inside the refrigerator in one of the rooms, indicating that the room had not been properly cleaned between guests. * A cockroach was found in another room. Finding these issues in multiple rooms was especially concerning. This did not appear to be an isolated housekeeping oversight. We brought the problems to the hotel’s attention, but the fact that we encountered similar issues after changing rooms was extremely troubling. Because I paid with points, I am still trying to get the points refunded. The manager did not make an attempt to help or provide any sort of apology for the condition of the rooms. I have called the Pasadena health department and made a complaint.

  I'm an IHG Diamond Elite member. I spend about 180 days a year in IHG hotels so it's sometimes a hit and miss on locations. Have to give this location it's kudos, it's definitely one of the best Holiday Inn Express locations we've ever been to. Very very clean facility, newer TVs which are oddly enough not always the case. One of the biggest things I loved about this place is that the walls aren't super thin. Our first night we had one of the best nights of sleep and didn't hear anything in the morning like most locations. The gym is actually really big compared to most places. Staff was very helpful in our late check out which is great because we work nights. Fantastic location will be visiting again!
