This hotel is absolutely disgusting! We have been here 3 weeks and are here for quite a long time for a job and our room has yet to be cleaned. They do not even ask if we want service, they skip us. When we do ask they do not clean a single thing, never vacuum. I had to finally buy my own cleaning supplies. All the housekeepers do is bring their kids to work and talk to each other all day. It is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The rooms are so dirty it makes your skin crawl. The pool and hot tub have been broken for nearly 2 months, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever..

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pampa, Texas, and the condition of this hotel was completely unacceptable. What makes it even more concerning is that it’s located next to the hospital, so many guests are likely staying here while they or a loved one are dealing with a medical situation. A clean, sanitary hotel should be the bare minimum.
The room was filthy. The carpets were heavily soiled, the upholstered chair was stained, and the office chair was torn apart with peeling upholstery. The curtains had large brown stains on them, and there was visible water damage and deteriorating trim around the bathroom door and tub.
The most disturbing issue was finding what appeared to be rodent droppings on the bathroom floor. They remained there in plain sight for two days, despite housekeeping having the opportunity to clean the room. That alone made me question the cleanliness of the entire hotel.
I am 100% certain they have bed bugs. While I can’t confirm, the condition of the room certainly did not inspire confidence.
I’ve attached photos because they speak for themselves. They show:
* Filthy, stained carpeting
* Stained curtains
* Damaged and peeling furniture
* Water-damaged trim and walls
* What appeared to be rodent droppings on the bathroom floor
This property is in desperate need of deep cleaning, maintenance, and pest control. I expect much better from a Holiday Inn Express. I would not stay here again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone—especially families or those staying because of the nearby hospital.

This place is literally the WORST - staff is slow and took FOREVER to answer basic questions. They forgot to ask questions. I look forward to a long COMPLAINT towards company headquarters.
What is your problem staff - if company management is reading this, please dock pay to workers or rehire. I will be spending my money in Dallas, even if I have drive further.

Hello. The review that I'm about to give I hope can be used to better this probably once fine Hotel. I will do my best to highlight the positives but sadly there aren't many.
My stay date 6/18-22 2026
Upon arrival we checked in and were given our keys to the room. We were told that the pool was not working and not going to be fixed. We were never told that. Our kids were so sad. We were really looking forward to it. Lobby seemed clean, nothing stood out. We were very tired from all day travel and ready to rest. Our room 211, was unacceptable to be used by paying customers. No hot water, damaged curtains, no bedding for the sofa bed. I tried calling the front desk. No answer after 10 mins. I walked downstairs and the phones were ringing but the front desk was vacant. I stood waiting for a few mins and finally the employee at the front desk came out. I asked for some bedding and pillows. She went back behind a door and came out with bedding and handed it to me. I was so tired I didn't bother complaining. I made the bed for my kids.
My wife went to take a hot shower. No hot water. I left the water on for a while. Sink got warm but the shower never did. With the pool not working and no hot water it was time to try and get something resolved. We were able to switch rooms and the first day was reduced in price. The second room was clean. Much better. Hot water sink and shower. 211 door didn't ever lock. You can walk in without a keycard. I checked, the door is still unlocked. The complimentary breakfast. The refrigerator that had all the milk, butter, cream cheese was left at 50 degrees according to the thermostat. We couldn't use any of that without risking food poisoning. We tried using the automatic pancake maker, which did work, however the batter inside the machine had gone bad. The pancakes were sour. That was awful. The "freshly" squeezed juice was a machine dispenser with watered down juice sweetened with stevia. The dinning area was clean. There is a gym. However this gym has been taken over by spiders, crickets and roaches. I don't know how quickly this type of infestation happens in Texas but if cleaned daily bugs shouldn't be able to be harvested and bug graveyards being created.
The location of this hotel is fine. It's a small town so everything is less than 10 mins away.
The photos online that are being used are not updated. When the building was new it was probably really nice. Sadly with years of neglect this should not be a part of the Holiday Express franchise. Corporate needs to pay a visit to this location and find out what is going on. We are paying $144 a day to stay here. No pool, no gym, rancid food. We've had to pay for breakfast ourselves daily this entire trip. Had we known all of these issues ahead of time we'd never stay here. The photos are the gym. The gym is what pushed me to make this review. Dead bugs everywhere. Does anybody clean here?
Don't come here.
