- LPLupita PesinaAug 11, 20263.0I booked this hotel because it was least expensive to other hotels in the area and had a pool. I had one day in between meetings and thought I could take a break in between work and take a dip in the pool. When I went down my key didn’t work. I went to the desk and I was told that no keys worked and the door was broken. I had told the young lady that I was planning to have some pool time this afternoon, one of the reasons I booked here. When I asked for a discount she said I would need to ask a manager. I asked if one was here, she went back and asked. Came back a few minutes later and said maintenance would have it fixed in an hour…….mind you i have calls to jump on in a couple of hours. The manager didn’t once come out to talk to me. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, the customer service is good from the young ladies who checked me in. The breakfast lady was kind and breakfast food was decent, its hotel breakfast. But the fact that the pool door wasn’t working and hadn’t been fixed sooner is the reason for the three stars. If something is broken why wait to fix it, disappointed.
