A $50 accommodation fee.. for what? Was not disclosed when booked.

The hotel staff at this location is running a scheme on their customers. They charge you the incidental fee upfront and assure it will be returned to your account after several business days. This fee was not returned to me and when I called the request this fee be returned to me, the hotel receptionist and hotel manager were rude and hung up on me. I am hoping their corporate office resolves this issue for me.

Very disappointed with my experience at Avid Hotel in Midland, TX. I’ve been calling the hotel continuously since 4:00 PM and no one has answered the phone. If the front desk is staffed, guests should be able to reach someone. Poor communication and lack of responsiveness are unacceptable, especially when guests may need assistance before arrival. I hope management addresses this issue and improves customer service.

My stay at this hotel was exceptionally pleasant. The hotel staff were outstanding, indeed. The rooms were impeccably clean. We will certainly consider returning our next stay in town
