ONE WEEK AT HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS MARBLE FALLS HERE’S MY FULL REVIEW
If you’re planning a trip to Marble Falls and trying to decide where to stay, we spent an entire week at the Holiday Inn Express and overall it was a really comfortable stay and inexpensive.
The hotel is newer, and you can definitely tell. It feels clean, fresh and well maintained. I’ve also stayed at the La Quinta in Marble Falls, and I will say if your biggest priority is having a beautiful view, La Quinta wins in that category. Holiday Inn Express really doesn’t have much of a view, but it makes up for it with the amenities and comfort.
The free breakfast they have has a lot more than just your basic grab and go breakfast. There were eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal and other options. They even have a machine that makes you a fresh pancake right there! I thought that was pretty cool because I don’t see those very often.
There’s also a large breakfast and lounge area with plenty of seating. During the day, it was a nice quiet place to sit with my laptop and get some work done. There are several other lounging areas around the lobby too.
Our room was a really good size and comfortable for a longer stay. We had a living area with a couch and desk, so I could actually sit down and work instead of having to stay in bed the whole time. There was plenty of room to hang clothes, an ironing board and a nice bathroom vanity and mirror.
And something small that I appreciated they use Dove products in the bathroom! The shower had good water pressure too.
Housekeeping was great during our stay. They came around frequently and made sure we had fresh towels and whatever else we needed. There is a fridge and microwave in room.
They also have a 24 hour fitness room, a pool, vending machines, plenty of parking and an area near the front desk where you can purchase snacks and other items.
They have a washer and dryer, which is especially helpful if you’re staying several days like we did. Just know that the machines require quarters. They don’t take cards, so you’ll need to get quarters from the front desk.
My one real complaint was the elevator. It made a strange noise pretty consistently when we used it, and honestly it made me a little nervous every time I got on. Hopefully that’s something they can have checked or serviced.
Other than that, after staying here for an entire week, I’d definitely say it was comfortable, clean and convenient. If you’re looking for a newer hotel in Marble Falls with a full breakfast, a place to work, laundry facilities, a gym and a pool, this is a really solid option.
Would I stay here again? Yes. Especially for a longer stay where having breakfast, laundry and extra space actually makes a difference.
