- DEDonna Van EerdenOct 5, 20265.0We stayed here while visiting our daughter at Tech. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was typical hotel style. My husband did not care for the coffee. The kitchen in our room was nice to have.
- LLLo LoOct 1, 20261.0Worst customer service I have ever received. Don't ever call and expect to get a nice or helpful response. I will never be trying to stay there again.
- DNDonna NielsenAug 18, 20263.0This hotel needs to be renovated and is rundown. We have Platinum status with IHG. so stay in many nicely decorated IHG hotels. This Staybridge Suites in South Lubbock had bird poop in the parking lot in the front parking lot and back patio. I walked around the patio and the outdoor kitchen looked abandoned and the grill was broken. The hotel had had a musty smell too, maybe from the old carpet.
- DBDaniel BenoJul 24, 20265.0Clean rooms.
- KDKandys DunnJul 6, 20261.0I was disappointed. The 4.2 rating and photos made me think this was a nice option however I can confidently say we won't be returning. 90% of the staff was amazing, friendly, & swift. One in particular was very lackluster though, which was the person working the breakfast area and they did a pretty shoddy job - at one point even refusing to refill food for a hotel guest because it would "take too long" despite almost an hour left of breakfast service. Machines were broken, the room wasn't clean enough or at all on some areas, and room furniture was very worn out. There was even a chunk of drywall knocked off a wall in the hall that wasn't vacuumed up.. the mess from it remained there the whole time we stayed. It was tacky. Room 229. Hopefully this can all be resolved and make it worth the 4+ rating for future hotel guests.
