- AAAtlas6 days ago1.0This place is a joke. We thought paying extra for a “nice” place would be worth it. IT WAS NOT!! We booked a king room and ended up with two doubles. We asked the front desk to move us and she rudely stated that this was all they had and I was wrong about booking the king room. So she lifted called me a liar. The hallway carpet was super loose causing tripping hazards. The AC in the room sucked. The dresser drawer would not shut closed. I would not recommend this HELLHOLE to anyone.

- BCBlack ChuckyMay 3, 20262.0Don’t let 4 stars fool you. This place was over priced and in need of an upgraded badly! I tend to stay at Holiday Inns because I felt the had better standards….. ( no in this case). The hallway carpet was loose and almost tripped me twice during our stay. Bed needs replacing and the tv was just laughable. It was so bad we were there for 2 nights but only stayed for one. Everyone felt we rather drive six hours instead of spending another night. The only seven Grace was the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean due to the staffs hard and fast work, but whoever owns this place needs to really invest in upgrades.
- DMDigwa mApr 12, 20262.0Stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lubbock South by IHG, and went out for checking my car came Back was stopped and questioned who am I and why I’m there, thinking maybe I just walked in to have breakfast or something. Receptionist reply that was told by manager. Was really insulted, if manager saw me coming in why wasn’t seen going out a min ago? Don’t think will ever stay at that particular hotel ever again, and bunch of guest were moving in and out but guess why I was stopped? Maybe coz of my skin color???
