  This was our first time staying at a Holiday Inn. There were clearly pros and cons but it was overall quite similar to hotels within the same price range. I tried to balance this out and make it as objective as possible. The hotel was full and had been for a few days so we got stuck with a room close to the elevators and ice machine on a lower floor. Luckily we didn't hear either of them unless we were outside of the room. Props to whoever thought of keeping all the stairwell doors open because not only did it make it easier but it made it so much quieter so that the only doors you heard slamming were to the rooms. These stairwells were some of the most spacious and cleanest we have seen on a hotel. We did appreciate not having to worry about pets also, so thank you for that. The hotel seemed clean and the ladies at the front desk when we checked in and out were both very friendly. Their website shows a coffee maker in the room. When you arrive there's a sign saying they're trying to reduce single use items and to request one at the front desk if you want a coffee maker. The advertising is misleading and the reality is they're probably trying to cut costs for providing in room coffee and tea since they have a large setup in the lobby. There was a really good selection of food for breakfast and I liked the fact that they did have individual cups of Greek yogurt as well as an egg white omelette alternative to scrambled eggs. There were plenty of drink offerings and lots of room in the dining area, which was clean. In our room the toilet seat was lifted and what greeted us was still a small area of someone's runny poo. The rest of the room seem to be quite clean. The beds were really uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved and the pillows were either too squishy or flat and hard. Down pillows should be special request only because they are awful.The thermostat/fan for the AC would not stay on all night so it got warm and you could hear the freeway and other hotel noises easily. This hotel has Dove products in the shower and sink area which is excellent. There is evening security in the parking lot which was also nice considering it did not seem to be a great area. *It would be good to consider an app that allows guests to check in/out, pick your room, set up more detailed preferences and use a digital key. It's odd having to fill in paperwork for a hotel stay. Remove the misleading pictures for amenities not automatically included in the rooms (coffee maker) because that's inconvenient for people who expect it to be there. In a room this small we would have preferred a coffee maker over a microwave, which we did not use.

  Everything was just as I would expect the classic limousine service was the absolute best for our transportation
