  Such a great experience working with this location. Had 15-20 rooms booked out for our wedding hotel block. Very helpful to work with and were always super nice & accommodating of us and our guests. ❤️

  Knowing this hotel isn’t a 4/5 star… a hotel still needs to maintain a certain level of standards. We stayed here when it first opened and it has gone downhill. Our recent stay - Very poor experience at this hotel. The security lock was broken from the door, stains were on the bathroom floor, dirt marks on nearly all the walls, dog food in the corner of the room, and the a/c cooled but the hotel room was extremely humid. The staff was almost nonexistent (when they were present rarely looked up from their phones), pool was dirty and the weight room was missing half the free weights and the treadmill was not operating properly. The security door on the hotel to the pool consistently failed to lock making the hotel open to whomever wanted to enter. The staff appeared to make no security checks. I understand the owner of the property may live in Canada, but for a “local” hotel as the only hotel in the city to be this poorly run is terrible.

  Booked two rooms last minute for 7 adults and 2 kids due to AC going out at home and being too hot to safely stay there. Steven, the overnight front desk person, was extremely helpful over the phone for this last minute booking. Rooms were comfortable, clean and AC unit was nice and cold. Steven also provided extra towels for our whole group. Bathroom exhaust vent did not appear to work but it was a minor complaint. Continental breakfast was also good as well but plenty of quick food options near by for breakfast as well as an HEB grocery store.

  Took 45 min to check in because there was an issue with system. Waited for front desk to text these issues to their manager .. and I had to wait for this whole text convo back and forth after driving 3.5 hours out of town. Why couldn’t they just call eachother to speed up the fix convo instead of text! Finally get up to my rooms. Yes, I booked 2 separate rooms and both rooms smells hit me in the face. They leave the AC on 73 so there’s no air circulating and all you smell is old dingy carpet and BO. I could NOT inhale this all night. This unacceptable. Now I’m driving another 30 min to another city hoping for better luck! Do better Best Western! Get this place some new carpet!
