- MBMaureen BesMay 5, 20264.0I recently stayed at Holiday Inn & Suites Houston West - Katy Mills by IHG and overall had a really positive experience. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff was friendly and efficient, which made settling in after travel very easy. The room itself was a highlight—very spacious and comfortable. We had twin beds, along with a nice living room area that gave us extra space to relax. It also came equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, which was super convenient, especially for longer stays or traveling with family. Breakfast each morning was great, with a good variety of options to choose from. The coffee, in particular, stood out it was fresh, flavorful, and definitely a great way to start the day. Housekeeping was a bit of a mixed experience. On the second day, our room was cleaned while we were out, which we appreciated. However, on another day, housekeeping came by while we were still in the room. We let them know we were heading out shortly and informed the receptionist that the room could be cleaned afterward. Unfortunately, when we returned later, the room hadn’t been serviced. It wasn’t a major issue, but something that could be improved for consistency. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

When I arrived at the hotel on Tuesday the 14th, the hotel was temporarily without water due to a break in the city’s water main, but the care and concern shown to me by the front desk staff that day was impeccable! I want to congratulate the hotel management for having such a friendly, attentive, and helpful staff. Angel Ferrer
