  The bed was rather uncomfortable. In my opinion. I’m not used to spring mattresses. Haven’t slept on one of them in a while. But other than that, it was a decent hotel, for the price

  Okay so this hotel only reason we picked it was because it had a nice big parking lot and I was towing a big vehicle and I expected more out of this location I guess but it said only $103 and then they charged me $190 we showed up at like 10:30 because we were working a hard day that day to load the truck the lady gave us a room on the first floor and told her they were going to have some water maintenance going on from midnight to 3:00 in the morning and we needed to shower so we did before that but she didn't say that they were going to be working right outside of our door until 3:00 in the morning I don't understand why she didn't give us a different room they were absolutely so loud worst hotel experience I've ever had and then on top of that they want to charge you $14 for a breakfast and if you don't pay that you'll have to pay $14 a person for breakfast and when we had breakfast in the morning it was absolutely crappy breakfast nothing special about it at all definitely not worth $14 a person those place was just an absolute rip-off the only good thing that had a big enough parking lot so I can park my truck if she would have said we're going to have people working right outside your room I'm pretty sure I would have said give me a different room

  This is by far the best hotel in the Katy area! The rooms are huge, incredibly spacious, and spotlessly clean. Everything is well maintained, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing with plenty of delicious options to choose from every morning. What truly makes this hotel special is the outstanding staff. Jasmine and the entire team are exceptionally kind, welcoming, and friendly. They treat every guest like family and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. If you're looking for a place where you'll feel at home, this is it. I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express in Katy, and I will definitely stay here again!

  Unbearable all-day vibrations. Apparently, the building has heavy-duty laundry machines on the ground floor that cause the entire room to continuously shake. You can feel the vibration throughout your entire body all day long. It's completely impossible to ignore, makes daily life highly uncomfortable, and makes it impossible to relax or work in the room. Another issue is shower takes at-least 10min to get the hot water Updated review Staff offered to room change to middle of the floor , and vibration is down to zero. Thanks for the resolution

  Friendly and efficient check-in. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pop up USB ports are very useful. The fitness room is nice, offering a good mix of cardio and weight training equipment. Hotel is also conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. A few areas for improvement. The scale in the fitness room is seriously inaccurate. It reported my weight at half what it should be. Scale needs to be calibrated or replaced. While a minor nitpick, I am concerned with maintaining my health on the road, so the availability of a scale is appreciated. If the scale will be replaced, a digital scale is less vulnerable to abuse than the balance style scale currently being used. Additionally, including a small digital safe in each room would help guests protect valuables.
