We recently stayed at Staybridge Suites and overall had a very positive experience. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The complimentary breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options each morning.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay very enjoyable. The only downsides were that the air conditioning didn’t cool the room as well as we would have liked, and the pool could have been cleaner, the pool may have been closed but from the looks through the window we didn’t try it.
Despite those minor issues, the outstanding customer service and overall comfort of the hotel made for a great stay. We would definitely consider staying here again.

We arrived at the hotel at about 7pm on a Friday night, at first glance, on the outside, this hotel LOOKS great. But once you actually get inside, TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY. As soon as we checked in, we got our luggage loaded on the trolley, the first strike was the hallway to get to the elevator, it was so narrow. There was barely room to maneuver the cart. We get onto the elevator, it's tiny, and old, and noisy, very sketchy. I did appreciate the fact that the hallway was air conditioned, but the thermostat in the hallway on the wall on the way to our room was hanging off. We get to our room (we had 2 - 2 room suites), and I am one of "those" guests who disinfectant and sanitize the room BEFORE I even unload the cart. I start my process, and wipe down the bar space, and I see a black ant on the bar chair, I move on to the kitchen counters, there are more black ants. I open the refrigerator, there's water standing on the bottom, and inside the drawer. I move over to the couch to sanitize it and the chair, and what do I find?!? DOG HAIR! YUCK! I am NOT a dog, cat, pet person, and I don't apologize for it. Sue me! I digress, I immediately went to look for extra sheets to cover the furniture. There were none, & had to go to the front desk to get some. I definitely wasn't sitting on it and wasn't going to allow my 1 year old granddaughter to sit on it either. I forgot to get pics of the hair. In our second suite, my grandmother & great, great, great aunts room WAS WORSE! The tv's weren't working properly, the furniture was dirty, dingy and ragged. One of the chairs in the room had scratched up furniture, like a cat had its way with it. I was astonished that something so blatantly & obviously in need of replacement OR trash was permitted in a guest room, and to compound matters, the A/C wasn't working and eventually, after about an hour or so had to end up being moved to another room because it couldn't be fixed immediately (we then had to sanitize and disinfectant THAT room) (I also will add we were having trouble with the tv's in the new suite as well). After we got my elders settled, I wanted to shower, I got into the shower, and the shower curtain was too short and didn't reach all the way to the floor; so there was water dripping off the curtain onto the floor AND quite naturally splashing from the shower floor onto the bathroom floor. When I got out, the floor had standing water AND the towel we used to step out on, was partially sopping wet. We dealt with this the whole weekend.
I will say the housekeepers and lady who was in charge of breakfast were friendly, nice and accommodating. The breakfast area was clean and the breakfast food was one of the best I can remember having in a while.
