I stay here when I’m taking early flights, as I live 2 hours away. Being a platinum member, I’m loyal to Best Western so I’ve been willing to deal with the inconvenience of no airport shuttle. I also stay here when my son and I take quick weekend trips. However, after this weekend, I’ll never be back. The rooms are getting very dated. The bottom of the bathroom door panel was completely loose and warped. The vent in the bathroom had quite a bit of mold. The ottoman, couch and chair all had gross stains. Our room smelled like mildew. The morning we were leaving, I called down to ask for an hour later checkout. The front desk clerk was very rude, saying housekeeping wouldn’t be available at 12, so no late checkouts. Not one apology for the inconvenience. I understand late checkout is a rewards perk that’s subject to availability, however being kind is free! There are way too many options in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to settle for this hotel. Signed, a customer who’s been loyal to this location for years.
