We checked in later, around 4 but the room still was not ready. We waited 3 hours for our room to be finished. The 2nd floor elevator was broken, we could use it to go up but had to walk downstairs. The ceiling above the 2nd floor ice machine was leaking. There was a pool of water on the floor and the ceiling tiles were about to collapse from the weight of the water. The reception staff were friendly and apologetic for the room and the elevator. Shame on the owner for cutting corners on staff and maintenance because it is. Very apparent. Won’t stay ever again.

Room was clean and nice. The areas that could've been better were the bathroom. Its rusted and you can tell they painted it. Should've just pulled the tub and made it a walk in shower to update it. The room door transition was missing do there was a pretty good sized gap. I had to shove something in the gap to feel more comfortable. Also the dishes in the kitchenette needed some attention. The hotel was pretty quiet overall. That's surprising since it was the weekend and we stayed on the 1st floor near the side entrance and breakfast area. I was worried we'd hear a bunch of noise and loud people. The ceilings were high and beds and pillows were comfortable. The ac was nice and cold when we arrived. We slept very well. Breakfast was decent. I got there at almost closing time the first day and just after the second day so not a lot was there but they had a great coffee machine with strong coffee. Not like other places where it's weak. The digital toaster was nice and my bagel came out perfect. (I overslept because it was so comfortable, which is rare for me when I'm not in my own bed!) There were a couple of dollar trees, starbucks, a Walmart, restaurants, gas stations and a small HEB nearby. I'd come back again and recommend to others. We're coming back in a few weeks so might stay here again.

Hair on everything. On the sheets. In the breakfast food. And then it’s hard to even get in contact with anyone cause there never anyone at the desk. Was not a great experience at all. Had to switch rooms cause the first room was soooo dirty.

The location isn't oceam side and you dont have a great view. It is a comfortable stay and a bed to sleep. One of the biggest problems apparently is lack of staff. We were limited to 2 towels for a party of 4, and we're told "to bad" by the staff. On a 4 night stay we never had housekeeping service. The trash wasnt taken our and beds never made. We usually stay next door, tried something new. Our mistake.
