I only stay here when I fly in and need to be in downtown Houston. It's very comfortable, clean and close to the hospitals

Our shuttle driver Alex was charming, friendly and helpful. We really appreciated his service. The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars is our room didn’t have a microwave- which we’ve come to expect, and use often. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

The Consierige Mr Kahn went beyond for my husband and I on our July 4th visit. I had requested a fine dining experience. He called many places only to find no availability due to the huge influx of people celebrating the 250 year anniversary. After many calls he was able to procure a window seat table at Gordon Ramsay’s Hells Kitchen. It was wonderful!! I am certain Ne Kahn’s relationship with that management produced our reservation. Thank you again Mr Kahn.

This hotel is a major scam. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else I really don’t understand how they call themselves “luxurious” nothing about this hotel is luxurious. First of all they charged me about $70 in just taxes and amenity fees that they don’t mention anywhere on their website or when you make a reservation which is obscured I’m living in Dallas and have never ever seen charges like that ever in any hotel I have stayed in town I only came for the World Cup. Second they charged me for parking fees that I didn’t even use I flew in and when you call to talk to someone at the front desk they reroute your call to people in the Philippines who are super confused and have a hard time understanding what your inquiring about because of the language barrier. Third I didn’t even use any of their amenities they don’t even provide a floor mat in the shower!!!!!!! This is BS. Never ever again. Yesterday coming back from the treacherous heat of Houston and chaotic unorganized stadium we find three of their four elevators “ weren’t working” I mean it just keeps getting better. NEVER EVER AGAIN. They can take all those charges and stick them up their you know what. The food so disgusting lousy French toast and sausages 75$ eggs from Walmart. And you can’t even enjoy and have a nice dinner in their restaurant because it’s full of fruit flies and outside flies absolutely disgusting I hated my two nights staying here the bed wasn’t comfortable at all the list goes on and they charge you 100$ a night of incidental fees on top of their ridiculous other fees. Because I had such a bad experience I will never ever use this property anywhere I go absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!

I had to stay at this hotel after I experienced a bad day at one of the IHG Hotels, I walked into this hotel close to midnight and was greeted by the ambience, which was beautiful, but then the lady at the front counter, name is Harriet was totally cold, like someone that worked at a graveyard( for lack of words to describe her attitude) . She greeted me Coldly, and when I tried expressing how hectic my day had been, she looked at me, did not utter a word and continued with her check- I feel like the front counter staff is the first impression the guest experiences in a hotel and should be a pleasant one. This lady appeared angry for no reason and Hotels should employ and train guests to be very professional more empathetic.
