  My family and I were visiting more family in Houston, Texas for the first time. When we walked in, we were welcomed immediately. The hotel is very clean and in a great location. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was delicious and very reasonable. My husband and I also enjoyed a nightcap in the lobby. We enjoyed chatting with Brian. He was pleasant and helpful. The young girl, black hair, at the front desk was so polite and professional. This is definitely our go to when we return to Houston, Texas!

  I would love to say the young lady at the front (mely & Jenny ) are very respectful amazing manners amazing customer service these young lady’s made my stay feel safe and Mis. Juanita you did a fabulous job on the breakfast I would love to say thank yall for having me and I would love to see yall again

  My 16-year-old son and I spent the weekend at Holiday Inn Houston NW - Beltway 8, and this was easily one of the better local hotel stays I've had in quite a while. It would have been a 5-star experience, but the $14 breakfast charge knocked it down a notch. Nothing ruins that "hotel value" feeling faster than realizing breakfast isn't included. The double-bed room was fantastic. And yes, it had carpet. Did you hear me? Carpet! I know hotels are moving toward hard flooring these days, but I'm not a fan. Give me carpet any day. Even though I keep my socks on, there's just something comfortable about it. No slipping and sliding around, and it seems to help cut down on the noise from people stomping around overhead. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The lighted mirror looked great, the dispensers at both the sink and shower were convenient, and the shower itself was free of any stains, mildew, or other unpleasant surprises. My only complaint was the lack of a ventilation fan. Not only do those help with steamy showers, but they also provide a little sound masking for those awkward bathroom moments. First-time couples on a getaway, consider yourselves warned. The beds were extremely comfortable and very clean. I also appreciated the built-in luggage stand, which kept our bags off the floor. The view wasn't much to write home about—we overlooked an inaccessible section of the parking lot and a bayou bordering a nearby neighborhood—but we weren't there for the scenery. The TV setup was decent, with an extra mobile table next to the dresser. However, the television was a "smart TV" without any of the smart features you'd expect. There was no channel guide available on-screen and no printed channel listing in the room. I eventually gave up and connected my laptop via HDMI so I could stream movies instead. One thing to note: the entrance to the property is surprisingly easy to miss. The driveway feels more like an alley running alongside the business center next door than the entrance to a hotel. Those minor issues aside, this was the nicest stay I've had at a local hotel in a good while. Clean, comfortable, modern, and quiet. If this experience is any indication, I may be sticking with IHG hotels for the foreseeable future.

  I would like to express how Jennifer made me feel right at home ! She is very welcoming throughout my whole stay ! Customer service is great ! Room was absolutely clean beyond my expectations and breakfast was exceptional, thank you to Ms. Juanita in the kitchen! Recommend this hotel !

  My husband and I (Julio Avila) really enjoyed our stay here for a weekend getaway with our family. Both rooms were equipped with fridge and microwave. The double bed room had enough space for the 3 guests that stayed there. Our king bed suite was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed drinks at the bar in the evening and breakfast in the morning. Thanks to Holiday Inn staff including Jenny at the front desk, for your hospitality and great service.
