  Stayed here recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The power went out for an entire night, leaving the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. It was nearly impossible to sleep, and there was little to no communication or support from staff during the situation. What made it worse was the lack of urgency or customer care shown. No meaningful updates, no accommodations offered, and no effort to make things right after such an inconvenience. When you’re paying for a place to rest—especially before a long workday—you expect basic comfort and service. I understand that outages can happen, but how a hotel handles it makes all the difference. This experience fell far short of expectations. I would not recommend staying here based on how this was handled.

  Disappointing experience. The hotel lost power due to a blown out electrical transformer across the street from the hotel in the late afternoon. No back up emergency generators operated to power ALL the hotel rooms ONLY the Lobby Front Desk area. The Front Desk person on duty did a great job with her limited ability to assisted hotel guests. No Manager came in to assist her and supervise the situation. Hotel guests should be assisted and accomodated elsewhere and provide meals/drinks. As of this hour, the power has been out for 10 hours and all we are told is that the electrician is on the way to fix the problem. NO ELECTRICIAN is here. No lights in all guest rooms, no outlets work to charge our devices and NO HOT water. All structures and business buildings on Huffmeister road or near this hotel has lights on and electricity running. The hotel is the only structure with power outage. Guests pay a lot of money in order to stay here while visiting the area and not many guests have a rental vehicle to transport themselves. Management should have been here to help Front Desk Staff assist hotel guests be accomodated elsewhere while calling for someone to come here to fix this issue before having guests stay at the hotel. Unacceptable and disappointing.

  I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel. I booked a two-bedroom suite in advance and even called the morning of arrival to confirm that everything was set. However, when I arrived, I was told that no two-bedroom rooms were available. The explanation from the front desk was unacceptable—they said they had extended another guest’s stay because that guest was paying a higher rate. Despite my confirmed reservation, they only offered a single-bed room as a replacement. To make matters worse, the staff member at the front desk "Chris" was extremely rude and dismissive, showing no effort to resolve the issue or accommodate us properly. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. A confirmed reservation should mean something, and customer service should not be this poor.

  This is the hotel we always stay at when we are in that area. They have treated us like family since our first stay. It always smells clean as soon as you hit the door. The staffs starts cooking and cleaning first thing in the morning. The rooms are large and comfy. They always try to accommodate you. This is home away from. Everything you need is close by. Walmart, Target, Academy, Starbucks, Luby's, Ihop, Texas Roadhouse, etc.
