  We had a horrible experience. First off I got this hotel out of a lot of options just because of the inside pool.. well to my disappointment the AC was on which made the water super cold and we couldn’t enjoy it at all.. Then housekeeping supposedly cleaned our room and I got wet towels that didn’t smell clean at all. Which I’m seriously thinking they were our old towels that they just hang back up. And the night audit wow she had a mouth on her.. And this is a family oriented hotel and she was using un appropriate language. Oh and the hotel is across from a cemetery just a FYI Like my 6 yrs old said I’ll giving this hotel a 0 out of 10. Very disappointing! Even the holiday inn from Matamoros Mexico was a much better experience than this one.

  I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Houston. The location was one of the biggest highlights—it's just outside the heavy downtown traffic, making it easy to get around without all the congestion. They offer a free breakfast, which was a nice bonus and had a good variety of options. The area is also semi-walkable, with a few restaurants and places nearby that you can reach on foot. Overall, it's a clean, convenient, and comfortable hotel, and I'd definitely stay here again.

  I stay here for PD every summer. I had a personal emergency and had to come to Houston. I needed a hotel I didn't have to worry about. The location is great. The rooms are clean, and the service is great. Shout out to Marissa for coming in clutch. If you have business or pleasure in Houston, I highly recommend this location.
