Do you like pillows? Do you need a special pillow to sleep? I forgot my pillow and I was fine. In my room were five pillows; feather, king size, standard size and more.
Not only that breakfast was delish and the service is out of this world. The staff make this hotel feel high end.

Had a weekend event downtown and did not want to drive in each day so grabbed a room here. Staff are super friendly, location is great and as always with Holiday Inn, you know exactly what you are going to get, clean and comfy room. The free breakfast is a nice touch, saved us $30+ a day. One fallout, the food from the bar is truly next level. Expected run of the mill bar food but no, wi is were crispy yet still moist and tender. Quesadilla was super flavorful. I recommend it as it is super convenient and good value. Bar lady was super friendly too. Will be back here next time I need to stay downtown.

This hotel gets a zero for being handicapped accessable. We reserved an accessable room a week before needing it because my husband had surgery early the next morning & there was nothing accessable about it! We spent about 45 min looking at other rooms. NONE had grab bars around toilets. The one room that did they gave away to someone else before we got there. This has happened to us at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. We are done with Holiday Inn Express!!

I recently traveled to this establishment from Ohio for my family reunion. The building is beautiful as well as the rooms and in a great… however; the service was absolutely terrible. Housekeeping didn’t come to our room one time during our entire stay. This also happened to some of our relatives as well. Staff were also rude to my aunt who was the host. I will say the front desk staff were helpful, but they were the only ones. I also noticed how staff would take plates with food while people were still eating and overall had poor customer service. I had an amazing time with my family, but overall I believe staff were tired and just wanted us gone. I would not stay here again.

This was one of the worst hotel check-ins I’ve experienced. As I’m writing this review I’m still not even checked in.
I’ve waited over an hour and an half and still wasn’t checked in. The hotel was sold out the day before and again today, yet management had only one front desk employee trying to handle every guest. It took nearly 30 minutes just to check in the two people ahead of me. When it was finally my turn, I was told my room wasn’t ready. Thirty minutes later, still in the lobby while the line how now grown to six more guests.
No clear directions on parking either. Had to return to the parking garage twice just to get my license plate, and then put the parking tag on. Should probably communicate this first.
If you know you’re operating at full occupancy, having a single front desk clerk is unacceptable. Guests should not have to spend over an hour and a half waiting just to receive a room key.
To make matters worse, I called ahead to request an early cheek-in and was simply told they don’t offer it. That’s understandable, but failing to have rooms ready well after normal arrival times is not when you already know before hand you are operating at full capacity is just unacceptable.
I travel to Houston for work every month and stay in hotels regularly. Based on this experience, I will never stay at this property again. There are far better-managed hotels in the area that actually value their guests’ time.
