  Excellent comfortable and clean bed, linens and new towels! 5 stars! Very disappointed with the front desk young man who apparently implied I should have known the hot tub was broken and out of service as I "had not been around there." Sentences such as "Good afternoon and welcome and How can I help you?" were not part of his vocabulary much less "I am sorry." Not sure which bothered me more the fact I was counting on the hot tub being in working condition or the lack of training of this poor young man! We found our room with the TV on, AC on and refrigerator door open and the carpet damp by it. Room smelled a bit stale. Not sure what bothered me most, if it was the lack of training of all the staff I encountered or the fact the hot tub and pool area was not open for over 2 months according to staff AND I should have known it! The "welcome area" looked so sad and abandoned. I believe it is supposed to have a pastry treat and fresh water - at least when you check in at 3pm, right? The location was very good for me. Although the desk staff came quickly once I rang the bell to check out, the lady could not speak one word bc her mouth was so full of food! She tried to motion her words at the same time of covering her mouth so food would not come out! This happened twice! I appreciate her speed to come out. Good will but no training. This hotel needs to train their staff and invest in better property management. Until then, I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. And a question: Why isn't there a vent in the bathroom?

  I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston. I would happily stay here again!

  Had a great stay at the property! Employees were awesome and the room was great as well. To be honest, the room was bigger than I expected it to be.
