As someone who has worked in the luxury hospitality industry I was extremely appalled at the service of this Four Seasons. Not at all in line with the brand and I wish I could request a refund. I was definitely paying a premium for the name for a property that is at best 3-stars. I left out for work around 9am everyday and for 3 consecutive days I returned back to my room at 4pm to my room not to be cleaned for the day. This is a basic service? The rooms were recently renovated and they are OK. The building is really old so I know some things are out of their control, but the first thing I noticed when entering my room the first time was the smell of Mold/Mildew. You know the hotel smell that's usually prominent at beach resorts? That smell. All of this to say--please do not waste your money here and stay somewhere else.

I was offered to pay an additional $250 a night for a better room which is insane. Never stay here. You will have better luck at the Marriott several blocks away.

Complimentary coffee in lobby in the morning and town car to take you on short errands. This was helpful as I was in town for work. Benito Garcia (one of the drivers) was most helpful (and friendly) in getting me to meetings and events that were close by. They were also flexible in allowing a last minute request for a late check out to accommodate a flight change. All in all, a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay again when in Houston.
