  we had an unexpected trip to Houston and we used points, we expected it to be ok. It far exceeded what we thought. The staff were so pleasant. Front desk is best for everything as there is sometimes a language barrier, but they work very hard and do so much! There was always someone at the front and anything we needed was addressed quickly. The room was clean, we had twi queen beds and comes with a mini fridge. The AC was a little wonky. Either on and super cold or turns off on its own and gets warm quickly. We just dealt with it. The shower has good pressure and they supplied hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Really good products too. They also had makeup remover wipes and a shower cap. Beds were super comfortable and very cozy with plenty of pillows. There alsonis a nice room darkening shade which really helped. We also traveled with our small Shih Tzu and he was very welcomed. Nothing was said, no one complained (he is a well behaved boy!) Our only fault was that there should be a designated dog relief area outside, as walking along the busy street is hard with an animal, and the parking lot is really busy, but there is a nice local park, Freed Park, not far away. (6 min) We did not eat in the hotel, but many people did. We did go to an ice cream social they had. It was nice, standard neapolitan ice cream and they had a table set up with toppings. You went to the bar with a cup and they served you. Nice little event for an hour. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay, it was for an unexpected medical emergency, that thankfully worked out and being close and not having to worry about where we were staying helped a lot. We would stay again!

  Everytime I come here it's always a good time right in the middle of everything and comfortable beds very roomy they have a bar and they have a restaurant here top tier very nice clean rooms and everyone at the front desk is very nice and warm welcoming when you first come and check in or when you're leaving anytime of the day they are very very very very very intuitive to all of their guests I love it here

  I consistently receive excellent service at this hotel. Mia and Alaa at the front desk are exceptionally professional, courteous, and attentive to guests’ needs. They always make me feel welcome and ensure that any questions or requests are handled promptly and efficiently. Their dedication to providing outstanding customer service is greatly appreciated and is one of the main reasons I continue to choose this hotel for my stays. Mia and Alaa are a true asset to the team, and I highly recommend this hotel based on the excellent service they provide.

  Food not good. Its all bland and over priced. The casadia, salad, shrimp tacos. They recently added hot breakfast. I asked if I could look and see the options before committing to buy. I was told yes by the hostess at the podium that guarded the dine in area. Im walking down the isle scanning the food options and as i turn to walk back BAM she's standing right in my face. Startled me. I didnt know I was followed and she's asking me are you going to buy? My God can I breathe? It took all of 1 minutes for me to look. Over bearing. I was only there a few hours for a business meeting. They need to do better with dining customer service and food Quality. None of them seem to be properly trained in food and beverage resteraunt industry. I can not grade the quality of the rooms for overnight stay because I've never stayed overnight. We've only booked the business conference room.

  We had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Houston Galleria Area. The hotel felt upscale, our room was very spacious, and everything was exceptionally clean. The location was convenient for getting around Houston and enjoying our trip. We felt comfortable throughout our stay and would gladly stay here again.
