  I stayed at this hotel after a pipe burst in my house , and it turned out to be a wonderful experience during a stressful time. The hotel has been recently renovated and is beautifully designed with modern, comfortable furnishings. The room was exceptionally clean, smelled fresh, and was very quiet, making it easy to relax. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help, providing truly high-quality service throughout my stay. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and would absolutely stay again—hopefully next time for a relaxing getaway rather than a home disaster.

  I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the service exceeded my expectations.   Veruska and Katherine and all the staff were very kind. As always. I've been coming to this hotel for 6 years now at least 6 times a year and everything is always excellent. The food of the restaurant, the bar and the reception are always ready to satisfy all my requests with a smile and to solve my logistical and meeting problems. A 5 star hotel indeed.

  Disappointing Experience: Great Cleanliness, but Absolute Disrespect for Cultural & Religious Needs ​I would like to start by acknowledging that the Crowne Plaza Houston is a very clean and well-maintained hotel. However, our overall experience was deeply ruined by the restaurant management’s unacceptable lack of respect and complete disregard for our delegation of 56 Muslim journalists. ​Despite being a large professional group and explicitly requesting Halal/suitable options, the hotel insisted on serving us breakfast that consisted almost entirely of pork products (bacon, ham, and sausage). We repeatedly raised this concern with the hotel management, explaining that we do not consume pork for religious reasons, yet our requests were completely ignored. ​Serving pork persistently to an entirely Muslim delegation feels less like a simple oversight and more like a willful disregard—bordering on discriminatory behavior—and a total lack of customer care. It is highly disappointing that a global brand like Crowne Plaza in a diverse city like Houston fails to accommodate basic dietary needs or show respect to its international guests. Clean rooms cannot make up for such poor service and lack of empathy.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chef Damien made our experience absolutely amazing! Every dish was outstanding. The steak nachos were packed with flavor and the perfect way to start our meal. The bang bang shrimp was crispy, fresh, and had an incredible sauce. The fettuccine Alfredo was rich, creamy, and cooked to perfection. And the crème brûlée was the perfect finish—silky smooth with a beautifully caramelized top. You can truly tell Chef Damien takes pride in his craft. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. We left impressed and will definitely be back. Highly recommend asking for Chef Damien if you get the chance!
