  The rooms are very clean, friendly staff, no noise. If you like strip clubs they're nearly at the front door to this place. Not my thing but maybe someone will love that. Downtown is only a 10 minute drive. I would stay again. Affordable and clean what else could you possibly need?

  This property needs multiple repairs. Internet only works in the lobby, the doors outside do not work you can only enter the building from the main entrance even though the parking lot is in the back of the building, there was water leaking from a light fixure in the lobby, no face towels manger had to go to Walmart to purchase some, service employees didn't speak English, ice machine didn't work, business center unavailable and multiple other issues.

  One of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had! I wish I could give this hotel ZERO stars! The condition of the mattress was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. It was covered in stains, looked extremely dirty, and was completely unsanitary. Just look at the pictures! I cannot believe a hotel would expect paying guests to sleep on something like this. To make matters worse, the customer service was practically nonexistent. The staff we encountered could not communicate with us in English, which made it extremely difficult to address our concerns or get any assistance. When you pay to stay at a hotel, the bare minimum you expect is a clean bed, a sanitary room, and decent customer service. Unfortunately, this hotel failed at all three. This was a horrible, disappointing, and unacceptable experience. I am sharing these pictures so other travelers can see exactly what we experienced before spending their hard-earned money here. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again, and I strongly recommend that others think twice before booking!

  This is by far the worse hotel we have stayed at. The most disgusting thing was, the were spots of blood on the bedsheets, on three different spots. There was only one towel and one had towel left in the bathroom. Elevator was broken, we had to take the stairs. Breakfast: out of waffle mix, out of coffee, and out eggs. And the lady seemed to be annoyed when letting her know. Ants on the syrup.

  I only stayed one night, but would happily have stayed longer had my plans allowed. As a Best Western loyalty program member, I got a great rate. And I was able to check in several hours earlier than the posted check in time of 4 pm which sealed the deal. My room was spotlessly clean, spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Everything worked perfectly, including the shower. The overnight experience was outstanding - it was peaceful and quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable, and when I sleep I like the temperature to be somewhere near arctic, and my room's A/C was up to the task, despite the heat and humidity of late summer in Houston. Breakfast this morning was a real treat. I had cold cereal and milk, sausages and scrambled eggs, and the real highlight: a waffle I made myself. Soon thereafter I visited the pool which was beautifully cool, clean, and refreshing. The little waterfall feature is a nice touch. If I can offer one suggestion, it would be that the pool would be more inviting and enjoyable with some reclining lounge chairs and umbrellas or some other form of shade. But for my needs this morning, the existing metal tables and plastic Adirondack chairs did the job. The 12 noon checkout time rocks! I was able to wake up at a reasonable time, enjoy breakfast, jump in the pool, and then shower, dress, and pack for the drive home without any rushing or pressure. This was an excellent experience and should I ever have to visit the area again, I will hope there's a room available at the Best Western Galleria.
