Check in was a breeze rooms are clean, spacious, with comfortable beds. Quiet area with dining options close by. Plenty of parking and a pool out back with afternoon shade. Would have enjoyed seeing an outdoor grilling area or at least a sitting area out back outside of the pool but unfortunately if you want to sit outside and away from the pool your only option of sitting is grass or sidewalk.

Great location, so near many amenities. I was quite surprised at the little extras they offered, like strawberry lemonade at the front desk and happy hour from 5-7 (our visit was on Tues). It was a clean hotel with a friendly staff. Worth a visit.

I have never had a dehumidifier in my room in all my years of traveling. I need help using it, so they were good about coming up. So that was a nice and welcome surprise. The bed was comfortable and I was thankful for the complimentary drink voucher on my first night. I just wish they had had that available every night of my stay. Apparently it is a Monday through Thursday option. I only had breakfast one day and some of my sausage, egg breakfast items were on the cold side. I came to breakfast at 9am.

I'm actually surprised after reading reviews from a few months ago describing the exact same issues we experienced.
The biggest problem was with a receptionist named Lily, whose photo had already been posted by another guest in a previous review. The issue began on Friday afternoon when we went to the front desk to extend our stay by one night, from Saturday to Sunday. We had already been staying at the hotel since Thursday and had paid for our stay when we checked in. However, Lily insisted that according to her system we had not paid, despite us showing the payment receipt issued by the hotel and our email confirmation.
What made the situation even more frustrating was her attitude. She seemed completely uninterested in helping us, had her earphones in the entire time, and was on her phone while we were trying to resolve the issue. She kept telling us that her system wouldn't update until after midnight and suggested that we pay again. When we said we would rather come back the next morning, she told us that the new receptionist working the following day wouldn't know how to process the extension. Since we were getting nowhere, we decided to leave and return the next morning instead.
On Saturday morning, the new blonde receptionist helped us immediately. She was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She handled the extension without any issues and made the entire process incredibly easy. Ironically, the employee Lily claimed wouldn't know how to do it ended up being the only receptionist who actually provided excellent customer service during our stay.
Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. Later that same Saturday night, after we had already paid for the extra night by card, another receptionist (I believe his name was Abelardo, not the employee with long hair who was also working at the front desk) called our room after 11 PM saying our extra night hadn't been paid and that we needed to come down to reception immediately. I explained multiple times that we had already paid. A little while later, he called back and apologized because he had finally figured out the mistake on his end.
I've stayed in many hotels and I've honestly never experienced such poor communication and lack of professionalism from front desk staff. What made it even worse was that both receptionists seemed very eager to blame the new employee for the confusion rather than take responsibility themselves.
The blonde receptionist whose name I unfortunately didn't catch is honestly the main reason I'm not giving this hotel a one-star review. She went above and beyond to help us and was the only staff member who made us feel welcome and valued as guests.
The hotel itself isn't terrible, although I do think cleanliness could be improved. However, the customer service at the front desk was by far the worst part of our stay. It's disappointing that management appears to have received similar complaints before and nothing seems to have changed.
We definitely won't be staying here again, and I wouldn't recommend it to friends or family based on our experience. I do hope management recognizes the value of employees like the new blonde receptionist and takes guest complaints more seriously in the future.
