I called the morning of my stay to let them know my wife’s mom had passed away that morning unexpectedly and we would no longer be making our stay. I was still charged for a night. I understand the policy but would have liked some grace during this difficult time especially because I tried to call and tell them as soon as possible (before check in). Probably won’t be staying in Holiday Inn’s again

- JEJarrett EckhardtSep 24, 20261.0Well tl;dr I got attacked by Bed Bugs here. Here for a work trip with my coworkers. First room had lots of plumbing issues but nothing unworkable. Until I found bed bugs. Manager was gracious about it, but didn’t seem very concerned about her staff nor the housekeeper who had just cleaned the room moving on to the rest of the entire first floor. Housekeeper didn’t really seem bothered by the fact she cleaned a room infested with bed bugs either. Hmm. Second room they sent me to still had garbage in it. Third room “upgraded suite” didn’t have a working thermostat in the bedroom area. Could only feel air flowing in from the sitting area. This place needs a lot, but rot flows from the top down. Management needs to go, lots of renovations need to happen, and training about hygiene, cleanliness, and customer service would probably be the start of fixing the problems. Go find somewhere else to stay.
