  I mean it's okay I just don't really like it... the room colors and atmosphere kind of remind me of a cheap motel I don't like the fact that I can hear all this stomping noise around me constantly and I can literally smell whatever my neighbor is cooking..... NO thanks

  I stayed there on 7-25-26 to 7-27-26. Our first problem was the elevator. Every time we used it, it sounded like it was going to give out and drop us. When we got to the room, our door wouldn't close. We figured out you had to slam it to get it to lock. Our next problem was with the shower. Their was no water pressure unless you only used one setting. That setting only let out a small stream so it would not cover your whole body. Lastly, our final issue was with the thermostat. With the hot weather in Texas we had it set at 65 degrees. When we woke up in the morning, it had reset itself to 70 degrees. This allowed the room to warm up quickly where we woke up sweating.

  Zero stars! Let me highlight the roach motel! This was our family's second time staying here, and unfortunately, this experience was completely unacceptable. From the very first night, the carpet was visibly filthy and appeared as though it hadn't been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, by the night time we discovered roaches in our bathroom. When we reported the issue, the only solution offered was a can of Raid spray, which was incredibly disappointing and far from an acceptable response for paying guests. Even the luggage cart was horrible! Needless to say, this stay fell well below our expectations. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this property to others based on the cleanliness and lack of adequate customer service we experienced. Why we didn’t leave…the were already holding almost 600 on our card.

  Our room was clean and spacious. Only negative would be the traffic noice at night. Very close to the highway; convenient but noisy.

  Front desk service was prompt and fairly engaging. One of the important notes is GPS took me an exit past the one I needed based on the address linked to IHG website. In other towns, not a huge deal, but Grand Prairie with traffic AND construction, it creates some drama. Not the hotels fault, but as a traveler, you should be aware. Of course, I am not a fan of reserving money for "potential room charges" but that seems to be becoming a thing. Fit and finish of the room was like a see through veil. Looked good on the outside but there were some hidden concerns. The shower curtain bar looked like it was barely holding on, which could be a hazard. Water pressure was not great at the sink but strong enough to clean my toothbrush with some extra time. Flush power was strong. Dont expect many modern accents.... no usb or modern touches but everything worked and that is what mattered most.
