The beds were comfy. The staff was very friendly and polite. The toilets 🚽 were very slow to fill back up. The phone in the room was broken on the left side. The room service entered the room before our checkout and was cleaning. The food they serve for breakfast was not so pleasant. We ended up leaving to go to Cowboy Palace for breakfast 🍳. The staff was nice. Big comfy roofs though. Would definitely stay again.

PAULA AT FRONT DESK IS A SCAMMER‼️‼️
I was told by the other man working front desk that she put other charges on my pet fee!! She charged me $134.47 for my pet fee and CLAIMED IT WAS BEACUSE THE SIZE OF MY PET. Which is NOT TURE!! The man at the front desk (I didn’t get his name) told me ALL PET FEES ARE $34!! When we called her asking about the situation she kept denying and said I was lying but the transaction is sitting right there on the computer ‼️ PAULA NEEDS TO BE FIRED‼️

This hotel was a definite disappointment. When we walked in the lobby felt like an oven, and the staff was not overly friendly. Our room was very warm, but once we turned the air down it cooled off quickly. However the room needed a lot of updating and the safety latch on the door was messed up. The bathroom did not have any hooks, and the sink was a small pedestal sink with a narrow ledge on each side to place items, so i had to keep my personal items on the desk and go back and forth for what i needed. Went down for coffee the next morning and there were no coffee cups. Finally found someone who had to search for cups, but when i asked for creamer was advised the hotel only had flavored creamers for the coffee. Did not eat breakfast there because of how hot it was in the lobby and breakfast area. The plus for our stay was that the beds were very comfortable.

Walking in on my first stay Saturday morning, after driving 16+ hours and exhausted at 6am, I met Charlotte (hope I got the name right), and she was such a pleasure. She has a beautiful and magnetic personality, and nails that breakfast spread! Those eggs were perfection.
I was a bit "blah" waking up that afternoon after only 6 hours of sleep, so my next encounter with a stronger personality, and a lecture about how fortunate I was to be allowed a late checkout instead of paying for 2 nights, was a little overwhelming to be honest- but I knew my lack of sleep played a part in the annoyance of that so I patiently listened with my tired brain- I'm sure she is typically very kind and I would've enjoyed a conversation if the road didn't have my brain mushy. And every time we turned on the air conditioning in our room that afternoon, the wall mount controller would be turned right back off within 5 minutes- which we found very odd.
I am currently staying again Sunday night, July 12th, after my visit with family and winding down from driving back and forth from the Houston area feeling delirious and restless - and I met a lovely front desk clerk- i believe her name is Yvette, who was so welcoming. She had just started and hadn't yet checked someone in for a Diamond Points redemption stay- but she was absolutely on it, getting things sorted out quickly and making sure to give me the best room she could find available, and the run down of details on all of their amenities.
I would definitely recommend this place, and it will be my first choice any time I'm in the area to visit again. Very clean, quiet, and welcoming. Cozy beds, and a nice selection of pillows, from firm to fluffy.
