  I’ve stayed at this location numerous times and have seen the steady decline. The staff is friendly, however they do the bare minimum for guest experience. The laundry has 2 washers ($1.50/wash) and 2 dryers ($2.00/cycle). 1 dryer was out of order “no idea when it will get fixed” front desk lady. The 2nd dryer eats quarters and now just stopped all together. So I am at a laundromat now to dry my wet clothes. The pool is “out of order”. With zero idea when it will be fixed. It would have been nice after a long hot day outside to take a dip to cool off or just get water on you. The fitness center is a joke, being so close to a military installation you would think they would know who the majority of their guests are. One last item, I get kids have energy and like to be kids, I have them, I get it. But please don’t let them jump, run, and scream for hours, especially if you’re on the top floor, a little here and there I get it, but come on parents! Have some situational awareness. When calling the front desk versus confronting the parents who were letting this happy they simply said “it’s probably just parents with kids, but I guess we can call”. Don’t stay here, take your money elsewhere. I’m sure I’ll be staying in Killeen from now on and take the extra hour or so drive every day when I am out next.

  I don’t write hotel reviews often, but I was traveling for work and had a change of plans so ended up last minute needing a room in a town I didn’t expect to be in. Leasa at the desk was genuinely and smoothly accommodating. I’ve never spent time in Gatesville and have to return for work in the next few weeks. So it was nice to have her be such a tremendous ambassador to the town. It’s truly what you want to experience as a traveler in new territory. We chatted about traveling and unique experiences. The convo made my night. She’s a great employee and renews my admiration for the quality of hotel I know I can expect.

  Great customer service from the front desk but the housekeeping has to do better to just remake my bed with the same sheets I had from the beginning is diabolical ..Of course I noticed I wasted juice on my cover silly rabbit
