  We were fishing in lak tawakoni. Just taught stay closer than driving from ft worth. Room was clean and the staff at check in were great. Thanks again.

  Where do I begin? I'll try to be brief, but there is way too much to unpack. There are (obviously) other reviews about the lack of cleanliness, so this should come as no surprise. But the entire hotel was FILTHY. So if this kind of thing bothers you, stay elsewhere. We were promised a room with a lake view. There was only a tiny part of the lake visible from the room, so not exactly a “room with a lake view”. Deceptive. Bad sink water in the bathroom. Unable to even get cold water to come out. When the tap was turned on all the way, the water shot out and over the sink and all over the floor. Unbelievable how no one in housekeeping reported this. Or maybe they did and management refused to fix it. Toilet paper was so thin you could easily see through it. Horrible trying to use it. Toilet had brown stains all through the bottom of the bowl. Disgusting, but could have been cleaned with proper toilet brushes. Shower stall had mold in every corner and even on the showerhead itself. It was obvious no one had been cleaning any of that properly. Found a cut toenail on the bathroom floor. Management denied this because they couldn’t find it. Naturally, we disposed of it, otherwise we would have been stepping on it fresh out of the shower. Lighting was horrible. Every light source was too dim in every corner. It was obvious that every light fixture was chosen for cost savings and not guest comfort and convenience. Walls had some kind of weird purple color and some decorations (behind the bed) that looked psychedelic. Color scheme of the walls did not go with any of the other aesthetic in the room either. Bed had a severe dip in the middle, which caused us to wake up with pain. Hallway at the elevators had an extremely loud noise going on, coming from (apparently) behind the ice maker machine. How someone could have heard that and ignored it, I don’t know. But that kind of thing should not be going on in a hotel hallway. Hallways were not air conditioned, making them uncomfortable to traverse. (I noticed hotels starting to do this several years ago; but they’re still getting full price for the stay..hmmm) Breakfast area and offerings were very poor and lacking. Those “folded, taco looking” eggs were offered, which are (probably) not real eggs. Bacon was completely out and none had been refilled, and I went back to check several times. While trying to eat my eggs, there was a fly constantly interrupting my meal and trying to dive bomb me and land on my food. I tried to shoo it away a couple of times, but then it finally let me be only because it found other food on the table from a different person to land on. It was clear no one was bussing the tables in between diners. The coffee at the coffee bar was SO STRONG, I could hardly drink it. I added no less than 6 of the tiny creamers and it was still horrible. There should have been fresh creamer to pour into the coffee so I wouldn’t have had to stand there for 10 minutes opening up tons of little creamer containers (I was trying to bring my wife some up in the room, so I was making 2 cups). They provided some larger bottles of creamer, but they were French Vanilla and Hazelnut, which we would think most people don’t use or want. Plus who knows how long they were out there and unrefrigerated. Outside was totally trashy. Cans/Bottles everywhere. There was a bench for ?smoking? but there was no butt receptacle, so there were (literally) hundreds of butts all around the bench. Never been touched or cleaned. Manager was notified no less than 3 times about these issues, giving them every opportunity to refund our stay. I told them if they did so, I would never have written this review. Never heard back from them, so here you go. And there you have it. Another AI (seemingly) written response with no credibility. I mentioned 3 TIMES that had we been refunded the way we should have been, you never would have been reading this review in the first place. Seems simple. What kind of smart business are they lacking in their teaching in how to manage something these days? None, evidently.

  Hotel was very nasty. Ants were in the first room. Second room smelled like weed as well as the entire 3rd floor. Plugged phone in to charge and it immediately smelled like it caught on fire. There was also no hot water on site at the time of the stay. I booked the room for 4 nights and stayed the first night due to it being late. Immediately checked out the next day and left. Do not stay here unless you enjoy the smell of marijuana and living in filth.
