Arrived on June 23. One elevator working. Lines for the elevator were ridiculous. Was told that the parts were ordered and was just waiting on them to arrive (LIE). The only working elevator and the hallways are not airconditioned. They had shop fans blowing. Wednesday: breakfast was ok. Powdered eggs, turkey sausage link (yuck), yogurt, assorted breads and a automatic pancake machine. (beach day) We arrived back at hotel around 5pm. Our room was not cleaned. Called down. No care in the world by the girl who answered. Tracked down house keeping down the end of our floor. Told to leave the latch on and they will clean it. NOT happening. I am not leaving my room opened for their convenience. Later was told that housekeeping did not have working keys to all of the rooms. Nice huh? Had a pizza delivered and we ate in the breakfast area to watch the World Cup. That area is so nice and clean. Thursday (Strand) came back to the room around 4pm and room not cleaned.....again. Tracked down housekeeping and they cleaned the room. Still no working keys for housekeeping. Decided we were having too good of a time to go home on Friday so we extended out trip by another day. Went down to the front desk and told them I extended the trip and asked if we could keep our same room and if they needed to update our keys. "No, you are good to go." We go out to dinner at Gaidos (FANTASTIC) came back and both elevators are down. Staff were rude and clueless. I asked if there was another elevator and was told (laugh, no). So we climbed to the 4th floor. Friday: (beach day) Still no elevators. Walked down the 4 flights for coffee and back up again. Then down again to go out for breakfast cause that food is awful. Did the beach thing again. Still no elevators. Climbed 4 flights of steps. Got to the room and the room key doesn't work. Go back down to reception to be told that I didnt register? Say what? I said I came down last night and asked if I needed to do anything and was told (by the same girl) that I needed to re-register. She said she didn't tell me that. Jaw on the floor. Received NEW keys and up again to the 4th floor. Got back to the room and guess what...yep, dirty room. I am so freaking mad at this point. Call down and demand they send housekeeping to clean our room cause it is now after 6pm. And was told that they are too busy to track someone down an would get back to us. My friend tracked down a random employee who got house keeping to come clean our room. Saturday: (7am) Called form desk and asked if the elevators were working yet. NO. We told them we needed someone to help bring out bags down. She said she was the only staff member on the whole property and would send someone up when they arrived at 9am. We waited and waited. At 930am we called back down and asked for someone to come get our bags and was told that they are really busy and would to try to send someone soon. After another hour, we had a nice guy come and help us bring our bags down.
Asked to speak the manager and he was defensive at best. He told us that he has to walk up those stairs too. (Seriously? Of course you do. ITS YOUR FREAKING HOTEL) Told me he would give me some points for my inconvenience. A stay at their establishment is 30K per night. He was going to give me 15k....and a 20% coupon to use in the next year but I have to book through Holiday Inn directly.
Moral of this story: DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

Don't stay here if you can help it. The elevators were broken, but when we reserved on the phone we weren't told anything. Thankfully we were on the second floor but this poor family behind us was on the 6th floor and they had a baby with them. The free breakfast was ok.. make your own pancakes, self serve sausage, eggs, yogurt, cereal the usual stuff. I went to the front counter to ask if the drinks can be charged to the room and was straight lied to and was told no but later on my partner grabbed a drink from there and they said "OH we can just charge your room." Weird to just lie to certain guests and not others.
The room itself. Now when we booked over the phone we asked for a tub and not a shower, we were given a shower. Ok whatever. It was clean I can appreciate that and they do offer certain things like tooth brushes or small things if you need it. The smell was insane. It was like someone plugged 6 bath and body works plug ins and called it a day. My eyes watered when I stepped in. The view was pretty and having a balcony is lovely.
Checking out was simple. But if you ask for late check out house keeping will knock on your door over and over until you tell them you have late check out and to please stop knocking every 30 minutes. I sincerely thought front desk would tell them which rooms are late... We were not charged for late check out which I can appreciate.
The parking is not free you will be spending $15 a day to stay there and the parking garage elevator was out as well.
Overall stay some where else or if you plan to stay 1 night and don't plan on being in the room go for it. Not worth the price.

This has been one of the worse experiences that I have ever had. The stay started out ok. Although when we check in on Wednesday, none of the staff mentioned that only one elevator was working. There was no sign saying “Out of Order” either. So there was a line to even get to our room. The wait for the only working elevator was 15 mins. Fine, things happen so we make adjustments. Fast word to Thursday evening, we walk into the hotel and find out both elevators are not working. Does any staff make you aware as you walking in ? No. Are there signs on both elevators? No. It wasn’t until I went to the front desk and asked, was I told that the elevators were not working. So my husband, who happens to be a disabled Vet who recently under went a procedure on his lower back, 2 kids and my self walk up the six flights of stairs to our room. Wake up Friday, no elevators. Walk down six flights. Come back Friday afternoon, still no elevators and it wasn’t until I inquired when they would be working that one of the managers said they wouldn’t be working until Monday. So for the duration of our stay, my family of 4 have to walk up and down 6 flights of stairs. To make matters worse, staff doesn’t seem to care at all about their guest. One of the ladies working the front desk couldn’t even bothered to look at me when I came up to inquire about the elevators.
Needless to say, I would not recommend . Staff seems indifferent to the inconvenience of not having working elevators and how it affects their guest. I would not recommend unless you are on a lower floor and are ok with the possibility of having to walk up and down floors to get to your room.

Spent 5 nights at this Holiday Inn. They have 2 elevators and 1 was out the entire time. The last night there the 2nd one went out while my husband was down stairs. After he hasn't come back to the room I learned all the elevators were out. My husband no where to be found. I begin thinking he is stuck in the elevator that just went out. I called the front desk to inquire and she said she was thr only one working and she can't get a hold of Management and that she had other People waiting on her to help. I tried to explain my husband could be in the hot non air-conditioned elevator as well as others. She had no care in the world. I cant help because I have others in front of me and Management isn't answering her call. THIS IS NEVER OK!!! 911 was called this morning having to have People like me and others be taken out of the hotel w their assistance.
In additon to this mess you pay for parking which is ok but there parking garage is over w block away. I heard at least two People say there cars had gotten broken into.
Do not stay here!!

Stayed here on Sunday the 21st of June 2026 and Monday the 22nd of June after a seven day cruise.
We arrived at approximately 09:30 hrs. After getting off of our ship.
First the front staff has been the best customer service we have received since covid.
They offered us breakfast upon arriving during breakfast hours. Also our room was not ready that early in the morning. The staff put us on an early check in list and had our rooms by 11:30 hrs. Very nice after an early morning.
The room was extremely clean and the beds were great.
We had a great view of the beach and boardwalk right out of our window and balcony facing east.
The ocean is right across the street and has a company renting umbrellas and chairs from $40.00 for two chairs to $50.00 for two lounge chairs and umbrella.
Great location several restaurants withing walking distance.
Don't write a lot of reviews but this staff both the front desk, breakfast and cleaning crew were amazing.
Last tid bit breakfast was your normal everyday selection with the exception of the eggs and chorizo which were excellent!
Will stay here in the future and you will not be disapointed.
P.s. view from room 513
