  This is a timeshare promotional front. We were ushered to the front counter where she flat out lied and tried to trick us into going to a Seminar. Lied about the weather to dupe us into accepting. It was raining, and the march up the stairs was torrential. The rooms themselves were amazing, but the service put a BAD taste in my mouth.

  The rooms are nice and clean. I called for maintenance and they showed up right away and fixed the problem. The location is far away from any town and no restaurant on property so you’re stuck driving in to the closest town to get your needs

  Know that their google videos and photos you are seeing is for the hotel building that is actually beachside, which is totally separated from these that are across the street from being on the beach, and you have to be a SIGNATURE SERIES MEMBER to enjoy that building. They are still really nice 2 bedroom apartments (we got the villa), but its incredibly confusing when you first go to check in as to where to go. There is a security guard in a booth when you first turn right into the place who you can ask. There is NO ramp or elevator, or wheelchair access here. My daughter was on crutches and we were on the 3rd floor, it was all stairs for her. When you go to check in you will be checked in and charged $115 security deposit.... and then told to go across the room to the "vacation station" where a bunch of fake sales people will try and pretend they like you in order to get you to sign up for a 90 minute presentation at some point during your stay in exchange for a landrys card with $150 on it. I said no because I'm not getting up at 8:15am....they then say well you have to be sure or they will charge you $75 if you don't show. 🤨 Its a hotel trying to sell you a timeshare. Just say no at check in (unless you are interested) and go on about your trip. I will add that there is a nice playground, a basketball court, a beach volleyball area, shuffleboard, mini golf area, tennis, and a regular swimming pool and all the sporting equipment is provided for you on each area. I wish there was a restaurant on site because its very far away from any!

  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Club Galveston Sea Wall for what was supposed to be a relaxing 3-night family trip. Unfortunately, the poor management and rude lobby staff turned it into such a frustrating experience that we ended up cutting our vacation short. We decided to extend our stay by one additional night. I texted the lobby staff as instructed, and they directed me to extend through the same online booking portal I had used originally. I followed their instructions precisely, successfully extended the reservation online, and paid for the extra night in full. Everything appeared to be handled correctly. While my family was enjoying the pool, my wife stepped away to the restroom. When she returned, her pool key no longer worked. She went to the front desk for help, where she encountered Kenneda and another staff member. Instead of simply reactivating the key, they were rude and unhelpful. Kenneda insisted that we had to drive to the other side of the hotel, completely re-set up the entire stay, sign new paperwork, and re-pay the resort fee — even though we had already paid for the extension exactly as they had directed. This demand was ridiculous and completely unnecessary. We were in the middle of family time with my kid at the pool, yet they expected us to drop everything and jump through hoops again due to their own flawed system and miscommunication. The dismissive attitude from Kenneda and her colleague showed a total lack of customer service. Fed up with the incompetence and rudeness, we decided to pack up immediately and leave rather than continue dealing with them. This was an extremely disappointing experience. The hotel has poor management, rude front desk staff, and no willingness to resolve even simple issues. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else in Galveston.

  Bathrooms smelled bad, bad customer service, beds were uncomfortable. Room was dirty and had not been cleaned thoroughly. Would not recommend
