  Little pricey but overall great place to stay if cruising. Right next to the port, so easy access. Able to park car so traffic was not an issue. Would stay again!

  Dee was absolutely an amazing woman at the front desk the day my best friend and I checked in. We were in Galveston visiting a friend in the hospital that was having to have colon surgery. Dee was super friendly, sweet , thoughtful and caring. We absolutely loved her. P.S. Dee our friends tumor in her colon was cancer free.. Yay no cancer extremely thankful. Such a scare. Thank you Dee for everything and thanks for asking about our friend the next day. We had a lovely stay here and everything was nice and clean. Again thanks Mrs. DEE YOUR THE BEST

  Pros: Easy checkin, near waterfront, dolphins right outside, spacious room, comfortable bed, working mini fridge and microwave, cool pancake machine. Cons: old worn down room, shower water pressure could have been better, small breakfast room, could have a bigger variety for breakfast, no gym, swimming pool is at a hotel across town, parking fee.

  I would not recommend this hotel due to a serious cleanliness and health concern. I stayed at this hotel on April 12, 2026, in room 220. While showering, I found a bug on my shoulder. Having never seen bed bugs before, I initially assumed it was a tick, as they look similar. Shortly after my stay, I discovered another live bug in my sleepwear that had been in direct contact with my body. I also developed bites consistent with bed bug exposure. After researching, I identified the insect as a bed bug. I have photographic evidence of both the bug and the bites. This issue only became clear after checkout, which is common with bed bugs, as signs often appear with a delay. Despite this, the hotel refused any refund or compensation solely because I did not report it at checkout. The manager later stated that the hotel had been inspected and no bed bugs were found. However, when I requested a copy of the written inspection report, I received no response. Afterward, I reviewed other guest feedback on Google and found at least one additional review from a guest reporting bed bugs in their room, which raises further concerns about the hotel’s sanitation practices. This situation was extremely stressful. I was worried about bringing bed bugs home, having to inspect and treat my belongings, and dealing with the anxiety and disruption this caused. This is not a minor inconvenience—bed bugs are a serious sanitation issue and can easily spread. I strongly recommend that future guests carefully inspect rooms and be aware that concerns discovered after checkout may not be addressed fairly. Very disappointing experience and lack of accountability.
