  The owner of the building does a really well job of keeping things clean and new. If you come into this place, you can see and smell everything new. Everyone here is safe in this area. I am a five star Review company here in San Antonio, Texas. And I love to come here. I did have a problem with the office manager. She’s just very overbearing. I think she needs to be replaced. Sometimes when you replace the old things, it’s because you want something new. But if you keep the same old staff around. That’s the problem. They need to be replaced too. because they get too comfortable in their positions and they think they can talk to customers anyway they want to. Other than that, this is a number one place to come . Bet

  It was a great stay at this hotel, rooms were spacious, clean, bed was very comfortable, not noisy, AC worked magnificently and for the price it was great! Definitely will stay here again!

  Friendly staff, great room with kitchenette. Nice pool with lounge chairs. Good walking distance to the Bx, jimmy johns and other amenities. Not far from the outdoor track. Had an enjoyable stay!

  Candlewood is a great space for a few nights to a few weeks at a time. The kitchen is substantial with a frying pan, and two pots. The breakfast has good options, and they have now included a dinner social once a week. Every time I've stayed at the Candlewood, the fire alarm goes off. Classic!

  Family and I stayed here for one night. The rooms are very comfy and real nice. Our niece was a last minute decision on our trip and couldn't change the reservation. Went to the front desk and asked if there there was a roll away bed. Dealt with a gentleman named Christopher and he was awesome! He tried to accommodate our needs with a different room and he showed us the room to see if it was something we could do and we couldn't. That is exceptional service! His empathy and awesome character carries with him and it shows! Will definitely stay here again next time!
