  We only needed a few hours of sleep near the airport for a very early flight out. We discovered we could leave our car there and use their complimentary shuttle ti get to and from the airport so we took them up on it and paid their $9.50/night for the ease. Their website says to call ahead for pickup on arrival. So as we landed and were waiting on baggage I called to request a shuttle back to the hotel/our car. I was told to wait outside of A35 outside of baggage claims. So that’s exactly what we did and it was labeled as a pickup/dropoff spot. After waiting for about 15 minutes since I’d made the call, I remember the lady said something about the 1st floor and we were on the 2nd. So we quickly went downstairs and waited another 10 minutes or so as the drive from the hotel should have taken around 15 minutes and I wanted to give some buffer time. I called the hotel back and asked if it was possible that maybe the shuttle had come and gone while we were trying to figure out where to wait (even though they had taken my phone number to call me in case they weren’t finding us). She confirmed that I was outside of A35 and I said well the door marked A35 is upstairs we are underneath it on the lower level and while I was trying to say that she cut me off to let me know “well we only pick up on the lower level” and I had to assure her I understood that and again tell her what had occurred and that the signage she was referencing was not present on the lower level. She got frustrated with me and cut me off again and said that the driver had left their phone at the hotel and yet also somehow she would let the driver know to just check both pick up locations in terminal A. We waited another 30 minutes and then my husband called the hotel to check in status. The person who answered the phone said that there was not record of a pickup reservation for us and they would send someone out…..after I’d just had whole conversations with them twice. We waited a total of a little over an hour when a Super8 driver who’d already passed by twice watching us stand there helpless offered to just get us to our car. So yeah….this place wasn’t worth it at all. Thank you to the very sweet Super8 driver who didn’t need to help us at all but had pity. We tipped him well. Also, the Super8 driver told us about multiple other recent occurrences where he’d witnessed and helped other stranded Best Western guests who’d been waiting 1-2 hours with their shuttles never arriving. This doesn’t appear to be a one off occurrence for this establishment.

  I’m a retired pilot for major airline and I do training for Flight Safety at DFW. The best Western is a great value, super people that manage and run the place, recent room renovations good AC!

  Stayed 3 nights. Great hotel, excellent customer service, clean and spacious rooms, and nice pool. Free parking with plenty of space. Will definitely stay here again.

  Mohammad takes customer service to a new level. Very helpful, kind, and professional. This will be my new hotel when in DFW!!! Clean rooms, beautiful pool, and calm atmosphere.
